I hate turning back the clocks, I hate it getting dark earlier, I hate the days getting shorter!, and the air getting colder! I dread to see winter come! The one thing that helps and makes me feel somewhat better is I remember back when I was stationed at Eielson AFB, outside of FairBanks Alaska, I spent four years there back in the 80's, and when ever I start feeling bad about
the Darkness and how cold it is, I first go to NOAA weather site and look up Eielson AFB and see what kind of weather they are having up there : http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?zoneid=AKZ222
This second one gives at the very end the sunrise and sunset and amout of minutes lost in sunlight for one day, and total sunlight for the day, this always makes me feel so much better! they are lossing over 6minutes of sunlight a day now,and I well remember the days when it was pitch dark late into the morning and then pitch dark again early in the afternoon! Anyway scroll down to the very botton of the page and see there sunrise and sunset. Doesn't that make you feel better about
the darkness where you are at? http://www.nws.noaa.gov/view/validProds.php?prod=CLI&node=PAFG
