Good Morning Chronic Pain Family!

It is a beautiful Monday morning! This morning comes with achy joints, stiff backs and cold temperatures..... Never the less! It is Monday. There are tasks to complete, jobs to do and appointments that need to be kept.

Often times we are so busy supporting others that we forget to update about ourselves. So, before we get too wrapped up in starting out the week... Please, stop by and let us know how you are doing. Give us an update. We want to know how you are doing.

What are your major plans for the week?
How are you feeling? What has your pain scale been over the weekend?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Morning all,

I'm still working on crafts for Christmas so most of my week will be spent creating things, with lots of rest breaks throughout. My pain has been pretty steady at 4/10 - that's my usual pain level, so I'm happy about that. The chronic fatigue is what makes this the hardest - no matter how much sleep I get, I'm still exhausted.

Ah well...everything comes with a price, good or bad, so I'll focus on the good stuff going in my life. Hope everyone is doing as well as possible. It sure would be nice to hear from folks who've been away for awhile...even if it's just a "I'm still alive" message. I miss people, and I worry when they're away for too long.

hugs and here's to a good week for everyone!

Okay so this is hard for me today,
Last week I tried the sulfa medicine my rheumy wanted to try me on for my RA
and I took 1-500mg dose and it dryed my mouth, throat, nose, everything was dried out
to the point that the following morning I had to use my Xopenex inhaler and saline nasal spray
just to be able to breathe and yes I took it with plenty of water went thru 1/2 gallon of water
from 10 p.m til 7 a.m. the next morning..so I was taken off that medicine after 1 pill, then my depression
got bad to the point that my once every two weeks is now once a week appointments
with my pain management psychologist..so anyways my depression is getting a little better
and my psychologist thinks it'll get better...
and I'm supposed to try a antidepression med, but please say prayers I'll be able to tolerate it
me and meds lately not having anything any good reactions could use some good thoughts on this...
well wishes to everyone...

I had a REALLY bad flare yesterday and I ended up in a really bad mood. It was the kind of pain that makes you want to just curl up and cry.

Nothing interesting for this week...just work and rest. I feel like that is all I do sometimes. But, I want to plan to do something fun this weekend, because I need to get my mind off of this pain.

Hugs to everyone.

Restless night... no position was comfortable for more than 3 minutes. One position hurt my back, another hurt my shoulder, another hurt my leg, another hurt everything...

I can't wait to see the orthro to tell me if I'm seriously hurt or it's just bruises and sprains.

I am alive Pam! LOL! Seriously, the pain levels have been better, but still struggling with side effects. I sleep a lot. I have been suffering with a deep depression, and am going today to talk to my pastor and get help. Tomorrow a friend and I are having breakfast out then visiting the shut ins from our church. I get to see where the prayer shawls go!

My pain is better with the fentanyl patch, down to a 5/10 and only breakthrough meds when I over do it....which I admit is almost every day.

Glad to see you are all okay. I pray for you all everyday, even if I cant reply or post.

Gentle hugs

No big plans this week...the weather and the time change have me a bit on edge, but my pain has been better. Hope everyone is managing well.
