Monday Koffee Klatch
If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
Daily Question:
It is dubbed "Black Friday" because that is when companies get out of the "red" and in to the "black" with profits. There really isn't a guarantee you will find a better deal on Black Friday that you would through the rest of the Christmas Season... Never the less, many people have the Friday after Thanksgiving off from work and thus add to the "sales". Which brings me to todays question.....
Will  you be shopping on "Black Friday"?

Nope, no way no how. I don't care if everything is free it still is not enough incentive to get me out of the house on that day and deal with all the rude, inconsiderate people.

For 4 years I worked Black Fridays at Wal Mart. In that time I have had to perform CPR, administer misc 1st aid to numerous customers, and help security on more than one occasion detain people for assault and battery on either employees or other customers.

I am 6 foot tall, 240 lbs with military combat training and have a black belt and those people scare me.

I might do one black Friday sale, and only because it would be so useful,
I'm looking at single serve coffee makers and have it narrowed down to
the Bosch Tassimo T-65 coffee maker. and that so far bed bath and beyond
has the the best price on this and if they offer a better % off, I might go
there to get it, my daughter will love that she can get a starbucks blend on it
and I'll use it for hot tea and hot chocolate, it brews a cup of water in just 60 seconds
and that's way better than my tea kettle and my tea kettles usually rust in the bottom
So this would be a family present and I need a good deal on this as it's $199. regular
price and most stores online and regular stores sell it for way above the mrp
(manufactures retail price(.

I stay home. It's dangerous driving out there with everyone having one thought in their heads...what kind of bargains can I find? Common curtiesy is out the window.

I think I will avoid going out on Black Friday. My eyes are degenerating and the cells of my lens are stripping. After having my synthetic put in and multiple eye surgeries they are increadibly reluctant to go in again. That means I have butter up a driver to take me. I think I would rather have somewhat relaxing car ride rather than slamming my foot on the "pretent brake" in the passenger seat due to terrible drivers on the road. Besides, I already have the crafts my girls need to make their gifts and I already have crystals and charms for their christmas gifts. Aside from that all I need to do "stocking stuffer" and a couple of smaller gifts that I can pick up anytime as they are usually very cheap anyway  :-)
