Hello Lindaloo!

We all will be here for you, and understand that this is a tough time for you. Prayers out to you and your family. You are missed!

My dear and loving friends,

Thank you for your prayers and loving concerns and thoughts.

I have been going through a rough time of it lately.  I had so been looking forward to this Christmas season and now, I am so depressed.

First of all, I absolutely hate these radiation treatments.  They are treating me on my stomach which arches my lower back.  That gives me pain and spasms.  It wouldn't be bad if it were only the twenty minute sessions that they promised, but now they take 45 minutes to get me adjusted to start the treatments.

Tomorrow I am going to see the dr and I am told that maybe he will treat me on my back and see if that works better.  I dont know.  I am so frustrated and can't fathom having to do this five times a week for over a month again.

There was a big altercation Friday night between my son in law and my husband, so thats one of the things I am so depressed about also.  I wish it hadn't happened.  This season is turning out to be not so merry for me and my family.  Too sad.

Sorry to unload on all of you.  God bless you all.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

Hello Linda!

I'm in hopes that you were able to lay on your back today for your treatment, and just wanted to say that we all are thinking about you.

You are not alone with family problems, and I'm sure many of the members here can relate. We have also had a tough time with this sort of problem. Split family's, steps parents, and the such can sometime put a strain on things.

Our 19yr old became a severe problem, and she left home before she finished High school. The 16yr old just left as well, and is living with a girlfriend, and we have a 9yr old with ADHD and is a handful here at home and at school.

Its hard on mothers and fathers and step parents as well, and of course this time of year, right before Christmas, just makes it even worse. Trust me.....when I say that your not alone with issues like this. I have always said life is about relationships, and how you handle them. I know you.....and you have always set a good example to those around yourself. Keep on that same path, and hope that those who have strayed off of it for a bit will see that is is a better road to travel. The road is straight and narrow, but once a person strays off of it, their problems really begin. Just hold that little finger of yours up, and keep singing "I'm going to let it shine" wink

You are a wise woman, and I trust you know where to find peace on this. Your not in control anyways! wink Lets hope things will settle down, and the relationship can be mended.

Again, I wish you better days ahead my friend wink

Thank you so much Michael.  You have always been a kind friend to me and I will always treasure that friendship.

I'm sorry you have faced similar problems in your family as well and yes, it is hard around Christmas time.  The problem in this situation is that my granddaughters, especially Kelly, the six year old, suffers.  She wants to see her grandpa again and make sure he is alright.  I only hope that my daughter comes around in time and will let her come soon.  It is torture for me.

Yes they are going to treat me while lying on my back which I think that will be much better.  I have "off" of treatments for this week, I think .  They have to reconfigure their measurments and that takes some time now.  But I hope things will be better now.

Please keep my family in your prayers pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.  Thank you michael.
