Good Morning Chronic Pain Family!
It is a beautiful Monday morning! Though I would love nothing more than to slipp in to some fuzzy socks and drink hot cocoa.. It is Monday! There are tasks to complete, jobs to do and appointments that need to be kept.
Often times we are so busy supporting others that we forget to update about ourselves. So, before we get too wrapped up in starting out the week... Please, stop by and let us know how you are doing. Give us an update. We want to know how you are doing.
What are your major plans for the week?
How are you feeling? What has your pain scale been over the weekend?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

well, I'm trying a recipe that was on the Dr. Oz show, gin soaked raisins,
it's been a week now and there is still a little gin at the bottom. It's supposed to help
with arthritis pain, soak raisins in gin for a week and eat only 9 per day (max).
Only 1 doctor's appointment this week and getting the winterizer treatment
on the old heater in the attic today. Had the outside of the house sprayed for those
nasty little fire ants...and got snow flakes put up along our walkway and have
2 small snoopy inflatable and a tree inflatable to put up and then that'll be all for the outside.
pain is a constant 6 sometimes going to 8, but gotta get things done, eh...
took it easy yesterday which was nice and need our live oak tree trimmed,
any one wanna help with that...
wishes everyone a low pain week

Miserable day....
My back started hurting at 11 today...spasms and stabbing with every step.
My foot pain decided to kick in about the same time. Every step is like walking on glass.
My shoulder would throw in a yell every once and awhile.
And my knee griped off and on.
The 500mg of loratab has not touched the pain!
I'm on a heating pad right now turned all the way up to volcano level and my back is calming down from it. However, my foot has a deep dull ache with tingling running up and down it. I need another heating pad on it...and on my knee....and my shoulder.
why me?

It is Monday and the extended weekend for the holiday was wonderful. I was able to get some things done, and get some much-needed rest. I went back to work today and it is raining, so I have some pain, but I finally gave in and started taking Tramadol when I need it. I am in much better shape than I was before I started the Tramadol. My house still needs a lot of work...it takes me much longer to do housework these days...but I will get to it. The earth won't stop spinning on its axis if I don't get it all done at once, right? I'm sitting here on the couch w/my littel kitten, K.C., at my side, with a warm sweathsirt on and my Chiefs blanket.....and life is good. Peace, V
