Guess things we're going too good, eh..
Our second cold night of this winter season, had me waking up hurting,
low back, neck, right thumb and right knee are all throbbing and stabbing.
and my three little kitties were bad boys this morning, they flew by me so
quick and knocked a table lamp crashing down on the bed post, busting the lamp
and a inside light bulb, which all landed about 8 to 9 inches away from my head,
glass was everywhere this morning and I have to wash the sheets, all this hurts to type!
I just so needed to vent, I tried a relaxation cd last night and woke at
midnight with a nightmare (being whipped, punishment in nightmare), anything else
anyone wanna throw at me...I've so had it..... mad cry

Oh Chart,

I'm so sorry you had such a bad night and a painful day...and nightmares are the WORST. They seem so real!

I'll be sending you peaceful vibes and relaxing thoughts this evening. Just make sure to eat something easy on the tummy that won't cause too many of those bad dreams to come back.

At least it was a lamp and not a huge mirror or something like that.....this way there are only light bulb pieces and not Chart pieces to pick up. :)))

I know it was a bad day, but you made me smile a little with the thought of what a sight that must have been.

Chartreux,

I am sorry that you are having a bad day. I hate nightmares and they affect me well into the next day. Also, your little kitties didn't help mom any by breaking your lamp and leaving you glass to clean! Sometimes their gifts are not quite happy ones.

I will be praying for you to have better days ahead!

Healing hugs,
Mindy

Can I throw you a hug?
Sorry you had a bad night.
One of my kitties is sick and keeps throwing up undigested food. I've got to start him on hairball remedy and antibiotics.

I'm just sending you a BIG HUG Char, glass, kitties and pain and nightmares, not a good combination. My thoughts are with you, my kitty is meowing at me out the window at the moment very mournfully but there is an open window further along for him, cats can be so stupid!
He does make me laugh though, hope things pick up for you soon, golitho

Chartruex, I sooo....hate to hear of your troubles. You have such a giving heart here on the forum, and it pains me to hear that you're suffering again. I probably worry more about your lungs and that bad cough you seem to come up with during the winter months.
Those cats can be so entertaining, but seem to hit a frisky moment every once in a while as well, don't they! wink I just talked to Chutz a few moments ago and she had one sitting on her head! smilewinkgrin

I wish I had the magic answer and suggestion to take away all your pains, but I'm afraid I don't. But....I imagine our support is at least worth something...eh? wink

Broken glass can be one of the worst things in the carpet, so I hope you got it all out. Don't you just hate it when that happens! shakehead

Take care, .....and I wanted to share a little Turkey leftover tip for you and the members here. Buy a can of biscuit's and roll them out to a 6" to 8" diameter and lay your left over Turkey on it, and maybe a little dressing.....and of course a little cheese.
Fold it over and Pie crimp the edges and bake at 375 degrease for about 17 minuets. You will have a Turkey HOT-Pocket when your done. (we bake ours on a Pizza-Stone) Of course you can stuff them with what ever you want! wink

Very simple to make with little effort!

The kiddo's love them, and they are great to send them in your hubby's lunch.

Again, I sincerely hope you get to feeling better.

SE smilewinkgrin

Char, these cold fronts we are having are nuts. The one that hit here last week went from the 80''s to low 30's in a couple of hours. I don't do cold and neither does my body. I have my mattress warmer back on the bed for now. I can't do electric blankets because the Dilaudid in my pump causes incredible sweats. Its only December and we are having this kind of weather and I am not looking forward to any of it. Hope you get to feeling better.

Chart sorry you are having one of those days. Hope you get some better ones coming your way soon!  When I woke up this morning  we had some patches of that nasty white stuff on the ground this morning, and  today our high was only 23 degrees. What a way to bring in the first of December! Baaa Hum-Bug!

   Gosh Chart,

That is terrible. No wonder you are so exhausted! I am so sorry you are in so much pain. I really hope the pain can ease up enough for you to rest. Trauma nightmares are the worst. Not only do the memory stick with a person long after waking up but they also making going back to sleep dreadful and frightening! Really isnt fair you have been hit with so much. I just hope at some point the pain and the nightmares will ease up enough for you to get some real restorative sleep. Hang in there and stay stong!!!!

Chartreux,

I am sorry I am late posting.....I swear I already posted a reply, but I sure don't know what happened! I am sorry you are having a rough time! And kitties.....what can I say? Love them but they can sure get into trouble! I have a 90lb chocolate lab (1 of 3 dogs and 4 cats) that still has way too much puppy in her and she is trouble! But what would our lives be like without them! And the cold.......darn it!!! I want to live somewhere where it is springtime all the time! Think about it.....springtime all the time means no Christmas....YAY! I really hate to be such a grinch but I am just not in the mood!!! Anyway....just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and hoping you get to feeling better!

Hugs,
