Saturday Koffee Klatch
If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
Daily Question:
Do you have a dream car, real or imagined?
Where I live there is no public transportation. There is the train in the next town over, but, that is about it. I have often wondered how nice it would be to have cars or vans that could drive themselves. All one would need to do is type in the location and the robotic car takes you to your destination. Of course something like that would probably take a hundred years.... still it is nice day dream. Which brings me to todays question.
What is your dream car?
(real or imagined)

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Right now I have my eye on a Pearl White Lexus SUV. Of course that's not going to happen, but I like to look at it anyway. I've even considered having my vehicle painted the Pearl White color because the body style is still good and the vehicle runs great, but my house painter dripped white paint on to my vehicle and I didn't see it (the big drip or the thousand of little speckles) until too late. Perhaps a paint job or maybe just a good wax. It kind of depends on the price tag I guess. (Sorry for getting a little off topic) :)

Dream car is a lambo...These cars pack almost a jet engine in them...
got a need for speed, but would not drive fast on any regular roads, as that
would be stupid...
and I would get it in a mint green color and rent a racing track to use it on...
that would be fun...

Actually Dani, a car like you describe is probably only 20 or so years away. They actually already have prototypes of cars that drive themselves that are being tested on tracks in several countries.

If I had the money there are a few cars I would love to have parked in my garage (of course I need a garage first..LOL)

The first is a 67-69 Pontiac GTO.
The next is a mid 70' Pontiac Trans AM. Think Smokey and the Bandit.
Finally is Ford Mustang Boss.

Yeah I like the old muscle cars.

But when it comes to having a daily driver I am a truck man through and through. I would love to be able to go out and buy a 1 ton crew cab 4x4 pickup with a turbo charged diesel engine.
2 confirmed herniated lumbar discs. Spinal Arthritis. Spinal Stenosis, diabetic peripheral nueropathy.
