Tuesday Koffee Klatch

If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.

Daily Question:

These days it seems everyone plays some form of "computer, console, telephone" game of some sort. Even my mother in law plays FarmVille
smhair

And you?? Do you play any "video games" (computer, console or telephone)?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Never ever! Have way too many things to do! I research the net all the time for things that interest me, such as Solar Heating (our current project),....usefull iPhone apps to assist daily needs, (I spent a month researching the iPhone) BBQ recipes, and many more. You can never educate yourself too much. I also spend many, many hours supporting CP members off the forum grid.

I don't play any games either. My teenage daughter does though. She not only plays the games but breaks them down and studies the story line, music, art and character development. She does like to talk about all that stuff to me also so I know a little bit about her favorite games but won't play them. They sound too complicated for me :) Lee

I must be the odd man out, lol. My sister & I both have joined Pogo years ago and play all the time. We go into the same room and play and chat back & forth in private chat and have a great time. She does not live here so its great fun for us. We both play Farmville and enjoy it, but Pogo is our favorite. It offers so many games and I think many of them is good for my ole brain, especially the ones where I have to remember what cards have been played. At least this is what we tell each other, lol.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.
