I am half way through my radiation treatments and I have to say they are beating me up a bit

Because they are focused in the lower abdomen, I have some painful urination and also now I think I have developed another kidney stone on my left side. After the holidays I may go for a nother ct scan, if necessary. Right now I am tolerating the pain.

I have been sleeping a lot and been a bit depressed, but trying real hard to fight it. I have my grandchildren that keep me going and I thank God for them every day.

My hair is starting to grow back. It is coming in brown and gray. Not used to that, as I have always dyed my hair blonde. But there is time for that in the future.

Well Christmas is here tomorrow and I know Santa will come here for the girls. I can't wait to see their faces. They are the best little girls anywhere. Kelly is 6 and Anna is 2 so they are the perfect age for Santa. I made a video through the PNP showing Santa contacting them by name and telling them what he might bring for Christmas. Kelly got a big kick out of that.

Well I'll leave you now. God bless you all and have the most wonderful of all holidays! Love to you all.

Lindaloo, Merry Christmas and may the new year bring you many blessings and joy. I am sure that Kelly and Anna see a loving and caring grandma and not someone suffering through radiation. As I have stated before, your strength and beauty show through you and not just to these two girls but your whole family knows that they have a great wife, mother and grandmother. We will continue to keep you in our prayers and may Christmas day be a day filled with rejoicing. Blessings!!!

Hello Linda! I think of you several times each day, and hope you are doing better. It wont be long and we will meet face to face, and I'm looking forward to it greatly!

Hang in there! The treatments will be over soon, and then you can get on with your life.

Bless, Bless, Bless you and your family during this trying time in your life.

Your friend, and supporter for life,

Merry Christmas!

Lindaloo,
So glad I stopped in tonight and saw your update thread. I'm sorry to hear of the increased pain and problems, but I do hope those will soon be behind you. My cousin's hair is growing in - more grey than it was before AND curly. It was pretty straight before although one of her daughters has always had curly hair so I joked with her that now she really looks like her daughter's Mom! It must be an odd feeling to have hair come back in different from what it was, but as you said those things can be taken care of later!

I wish you a peaceful Christmas filled with smiles from watching your grandchildren see what Santa really brought!

Hi Lindaloo. thank you so much for giving us an update. I am sorry to hear that you are having more pain on top of what you you deal with every day. Not much longer and you will have the radiation treatments behind you. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Hugs coming your way.
