Hello HW Friends,
When visiting my PCP last week, we discussed this awful weight gain that I have had and "what to do about it". She suggested an "exercise chair" that is normally made for disabled people or elderly people and has to be purchased as DME with a prescription. She says it works with some type of bands, but did not elaborate too much. She also says that it would exercise the muscles and keep me from having more muscle pain and loss and more fat gain. She's more than willing to write the script and more than willing to argue with the insurance company to get this thing for me, but she doesn't know what it is called and suggested I do an internet search and call her back with the data. I've been trying and trying, but I can't figure out what she is referring to and wondered if you guys had any idea.
You all seem to have so much more knowledge than I do about medical equipment and how to find the correct info.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
