Saturday Koffee Klatch
If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.
Daily Question:
Pistachio, Almond, Cashew, Macademia, Pecans......
Do you eat nuts?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Um, not suppose to eat these because of the crohns disease, but I have been known to munch on a few cashews. We have a store in my city called Nut Vending and they have every kind of nut you can possibly think of and they are so fresh. You get spoiled after eating theirs because the ones in the grocery store tastes nasty after eating the good ones. They ship anywhere in the states.

Call me a nut, because I'm a nutaholic! I'd eat any of them.
The only one I can't eat is peanuts, because they give me heartburn.

Cashews are by far my favorite, but I also enjoy brazil nuts, macadamia, pecans, and almonds. The only peanuts I really care for are ones still in the shell.

My 5 year old's favorite is pecans. He calls them railroad tracks....LOL

I love all nuts, peanuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, brazil nuts. I love honey roasted peanuts and the salted ones in the shell also. I have fond memories of minor league baseball games with my sons munching on a bag of those salted shelled peanuts. After the general admission, it was all we could afford as a single mom. They never complained or whined for more, just loved their bag of peanuts.
