Hi Me, I had noticed that you had returned back to the forum and started posting again. Its been quite a while since we have heard from you, so how are you doing these days? Good to have you back. I read one of your post that you have a new PM dr on board that has a plan to possibly get you off of Methadone. Did I read that correctly? You said something about her wanting to use Klonopine whereas your previous PM dr had wanted to use other meds. So, when is your dr going to start this or are you stuck with Methadone?

Anyway, wanted to pop on and say welcome back. We really need your input on Methadone because you have been on it longer than any member I can think of and your input is valuable to others.

Take care.

Hey Straydog, so nice to hear from you in a personal manner....Actually, I'm at the same PM office but the PA that I was with for the past year or so just up and left....No warning. I only go in once every 2 months now, and she wasn't there. That happened a few years ago with another PA, Carol. She was so great, I actually trusted her with my life....we were "friends". then POOF, she was gone....but she at least warned me and gave me her phone number (a no no) so I could follow her to her new office....But because of insurance reasons I couldn't go. This one, Kim, was just like her, a great bed side manner, and she really cared. The new one, Bridgette, is ok I guess....she only wants to do things the hard way as far as changing meds...and only in the Spring. I've only seen her once, tomorrow will be the second time...I'll give her a chance.

How are you? I remember when you became the moderator....Cool, huh? Do u like it? I wanted to do it but they never contacted me...that might have been part of the reason I left for a while....and I just got tired of the whining....ya know? And some of the people on here were a little Kookie if ya get my drift?

But I'm back, hopefully for a long time. So thanks....it means a lot to have you get in touch...

Hey Rhonda doesn't it just drive you crazy the way some of these PA's just up and disappear from a clinic. I know my old PCP office had lots of PA's and they had a couple that I really liked. But, you know the drill, you show up one day and they are gone. Then you start all over again finding one that you can like and get along with. Hopefully this new one will work out for you once you get to know her and she gets to know you.

I see that you are on Novolin for your diabetes. Does it seem to work well for you? My husband was on Lantus one shot a day and it did great but the expense was just too much. It was over $500 a month for us and just not realistic. He was then put on Novolin and his sugar levels are not that great. I have no clue how much a day he uses I just know he does two shots a day.

I am not feeling good at all and I am not sure if I am trying to come down with something or have or what. I am having horrible headaches which I thought were sinus related but I am just not sure at this point, I am close to a week of headaches every day. I can control them with Ibuprophene but as soon as it wears off the headache is right back. Really feeling yucky and out of sorts.

You asked me about being a mod, well, I honestly don't feel any different, lol. The only time I guess I think about it is when I am on here late, late at night and some spammer comes on and I am able to take care of him/her immediately instead of having to alert someone of the post. That pretty much is really what we do around here is catch those guys. What they don't realize when they come here is not all of us have the same sleep schedule so they get caught fast, lol.

Glad to see you back and you know with any public forum we are always gonna have a weird one here and there along the way, lol. But, from what I have heard of others that have belonged to other forums they can get pretty rough and there are not any rules in place to follow. At least here everyone knows to keep the rowing the boat in the same direction.

Take care.
