Good Morning Chronic Pain Family!
It is a beautiful Monday morning! With a little luck, you are waking up later than usual. Thank goodness. I think we all deserve a break from incessant phone calls, bills and constant stress. Regardless of the day off.... there are tasks to complete, jobs to do and appointments that need to be kept starting tomorrow.
Often times we are so busy supporting others that we forget to update about ourselves. So, before we get too wrapped up in starting out the week... Please, stop by and let us know how you are doing. Give us an update. We want to know how you are doing.
How are you feeling?
What has your pain scale been over the weekend?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

I had a bad weekend, I forgot to take a b-12 and was sick on Sunday...
and the rest was silly, "Kiss" the rock group is going to be at the Houston Livestock
Show and Rodeo, I wanted club seat tickets as they are better/(easier to get to the seats) and my husband log in
and was right there at 10 a.m to try to get these and he could'nt get through, so that
made for a bad weekend, (the elevator goes right up to this section) and well the HLSR
should've made these seats available as they were not sold out, silly, eh...(It's my
25th Anniversary this year and wanted it to be special for both my husband and I).
wasn't meant to be...and I don't qualify for any (husband makes too much) disability,
I will need to get a job, an easy one I hope for 5 years,
then I'll qualify, geezee and ouch....
I have 2 Doctor's appointments this week and low back (it's a 8) is hurting more than usual and
the arthritis in my hands is making even typing this very hard, ...
Life sucks............
Hope everyone else is having a better go at things and low pain levels...

Yikes! Having a hard week, no doubt. With a little luck and a lot of prayer, things will get better. Until then I just have to work twice as hard to keep up.

Oh yes.. and still make times for seemingly small tasks that end up taking a big chunk of time. Like getting my hair trimmed. I keep my hair in long layers, longest reaching the small of my back. Because of my problems I have to shampoo twice and deep condition while I am at home. As soon as I get out of the shower I have to roll up my hair and race down to the stylist... so she can spend 1.5 -2 hours trimming... So many seemingly small tasks take so long. Pedicures and manicures...? ..sheesh.

Right now I will settle for getting the days tasks done and try hard to not get discouraged at the amount of time it takes.

*warm hugg*

Not sleeping well, and up most of the night. Miss Privey a lot too! I'm still here, but have been taking a few days off from posting. Hope to feel better soon to support members here.

I've had a very hard time these last few days. Friday night we received a call that my aunt was in ER with severe stomach cramps. Saturday morning we got a call that she was in ICU. Saturday night we got a call that she had died. It turned out that she taken so many antibiotics that all of the good bacteria had died inside her and the bad bacteria had cause sepsis.
Monday we had to drive four hours to go to her viewing. Tuesday was her funeral and we drove back four hours Tuesday night. I was so sore and stoved up from all the riding I could barely climb into bed last night. I had to get up six hours later to go into work. Needless to say I spent the day in almost zombie like state. I can't function unless I get eight hours sleep every night and ever since Saturday night I had only been able to get 6 hours each night. This makes me extremely tired and hurt more.
I have to go to physical therapy on Thursday. UGH! The exercises for rotator cuff injury is so painful. Just thinking about it makes me want put ice on my shoulder. UGH!
Goodnight folks.

Flying out to the midwest tomorrow for a grad school interview. My pain has been just horrible this week (the worst it has been in months) & I really don't want to go. I'm probably not going to end up going to this school anyways, but it's too late to say no to the interview now. The last thing I need is to make an enemy. At least this trip will make me miss Friday's snow storm here at home. I normally like snow, but we have gotten 60+ inches in three weeks, plus a whole bunch of ice yesterday. I'm all snowed out!
