For the last month or so, if I sit in bed with my leg(s) crossed, I get excruciating burning pain when I try to straighten my leg. I've had some of the worst pain ever, but this pain is unlike anything I've ever had. It's a burning pain that makes me lose my mind...For about 20 seconds, I literally don't know what to do...I feel like I'm going to die or actually wish for it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Has anyone gone through something like this?

Hi Jimmy,

Sorry you're suffering. Nerve pain can feel like what you described. Might be well worth while to have your doctor look into what's causing it. If it is nerve damage then waiting WILL make it get worse.

Good luck,

I can't sit like that either-my legs end up going to sleep and I do not like that feeling when they wake up either.

I have burning pain in my feet and legs at times. I have peripheral neuropathy and rsd both conditions have this as a symptom. I see you have a lot of dx have you talked to your doctor? Some meds can assist in giving relief to the burning

Have had this excruciating pain before, and did again tonight. Yes, it is horrible and I wish I would just pass out from the pain. Is this a nerve problem or a joint problem? Would love to know. I see your post is old, but would like some answers if you have any.
