You ever have one of those nights where you twist and turn in your sleep only to wake up and not be able to get out of bed or if you can, you feel like someone ran you over with a steam roller?? This morning was excruciating! My Sacroiilitis is acting up majorly and so is my scoliosis to a lesser extent. I was fine when I went to bed, but being the restless sleeper that I am; I must've been doing gymnastics.

So I have the whole SI and scoliosis thing going on, so then what happens? I pinch a nerve in my neck and shoulder. So after much manipulation from the physical therapist, it is a little better. Oh and did I mention it feels like someone is stabbing me in the stomach?? Yep, ever since a horrible mistake on my part (eating a spicy dip that contained Cheyenne Peppers - in which I am allergic - I didn't know it had Cheyenne in it) my gastritis and acid reflux has been screaming at me. I'll admit, to much lesser degree then on Monday but I am still not feeling that great. Then of course we can't forget the elephant wearing cleats that is sitting on my left side because of my Ulcerative Colitis.

Sorry, just had to vent. It has NOT been a good day! mad

 Dear Sherry,

Good to hear from you. smhair    Yikes! I just don't know how you are able to cope with it all and still be such a strong source of encouragement to all here at Healing Well.

I do hope you are able to get some rest at some point. It sounds like you are down right fed up with all the pain. Take care and stay strong!

:-)

Usually I just roll with the punches. Try to ignore these things and get on with life. But every once in a while, things like this just seem to stack on me all at once. That makes it hard to stay optimistic. I believe in the whole positive vibes bring positive thoughts thing. Yesterday just gave me a hard slap that's all.

I am feeling slightly better today. Still quite achy...so instead of a steam roller, it's more like a F150 at this point.

Thanks Dani...

Hi Sherry, sort of sounds like if it wasn't for bad luck, you would have no luck at all. Don't you just love those nights where you flip & flop like a fish out of water. Naturally, the next morning feels like someone steam rolled you in your sleep. Lets hope that since so many things have been triggered all at once that once you get over the hump you will not have any major problems for a while. Try babying yourself for awhile till this all passes.

Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing. Is your drs helping you out with any of this mess, sure hope so.
