Monday Koffee Klatch

If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.

Daily Question:

What type of car do you drive?

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

A 98 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive pickup.

Wish it was a 4x4 but other than that I love it. Has power lumbar which is great, and being a truck I don't have to sit down/low to get into it or have to strain anything getting out of it.
2 confirmed herniated lumbar discs. Spinal Arthritis. Spinal Stenosis, diabetic peripheral nueropathy.

2003 Pontiac Vibe its the vivid green color, people either hate it or love it, I don't
care, it gets good gas mileage around 31 to 32 mpg city and hwy...
GM should've never gotten rid of the Pontiac, ....The full Eagle on the hood was a classic trademark...

A 2011 Toyota Highlander - Blizzard White with leather package. This is the first vehicle I can say that I absolutely LOVE to drive. The heated seats are amazing. It's also the first one that I was able to buy exactly what I wanted. I'm sure I'll be driving it until the wheels fall off (like I have all of my others), but it's great to have a new vehicle for a change. I also love the back-up camera and the extra blind spot mirrors I put on ($2.00 from Big Lots), but man does it make a difference in being able to drive in any kind of traffic. I feel like a normal person who can drive again since I can see the sides of the car and I can use the back-up camera to keep from running over things! It's definitely worth the extra money to buy the upgraded model.

Chart.....I cannot even imagine a vivid green Pontiac. That's cool!
