Greetings Fams, Friends & Newbee's, I hope this post finds everyone in low or no pain! It's been quite a while since I've started a topic here on H.W.C.P. I remember back when I started at least one a day sometimes 4 or 5! But time passes and people change> a little anyway. Today is my birthday and a time for an old giezer like me to look back at another year passed and forward to this next upcoming year if I live tru it??
So w/ hopes of not boring Y'all to death I'm going to try to remember the events of last year in Peteworld??? Hmmmmmm, warning, my memory really sucks so things may be a little out of sink but none made up, I promiss!!!
Jan. 10' - eye surgery to remove nasty ugly heinus tumerthing growing in/on my right eye> what fun! Yea> Not cancer, at least thats a good thing! Been through cancer twice already, no fun!!!
Feb. 10' - Fire my first pain Dr. since I moved to N. Fla. he doesn't ask me anything or care, just writes scripts! I hate him!
Feb. 10' - Get a new pain doc but have reservations about him, didn't ask anything just said you take too much narcs!??
March 10' - tumor grew back> OH NO!! so had another eye surgery> can't these dr's get it right the first time? Stitches in my eye again Grrrrr!> Dega Vu all over again! He says he got the whole thing this time! Lets hope so! Made me pay again, said my warranty was over last month!
March 10' - Fire the pain doc after 2nd visit, he is another who doesn't care at all about my pain, just writes scripts!
March 10' - start fishing a little out in the Gulf & Rivers as it's warming up in N. Fla.> Not catching much but nice to get out!
March 10' - Thinking about starting a garden this year???
April 10' - Get another pain Doc, third already this year after having the same one for over 7 years! (Moved north and had to give her up!) This one is a young good looking lady> Hmmmm?
April 10' - Denied first time by social security for dissabillity> Very depressing!
April 10' - new pain doc lady wants to cut my meds in half, says I take too much evan after being cut lower by last 2 idiot shyster so called drs!!!
To Be Continued!!!
Sorry, have to stop but promiss I will continue later if there is any intrust in my sometimes crazy sometimes insane> 2010~2011 story. I have way too many chores to get done this a.m. evan on my B/D!!
Love and Big Giant Fat Guy Hugs for all Y'all in HealinCyberWell CronicStupidPainworld!!!
Your friend always!
Pityfull Pete!

Chartreux, anyone would be welcome to go, and the more the better. It was not easy to plan, and the health issues were a worry for each and everyone of us. We would love to do this every year, but finances just won't allow for it at this time. However, I hope our trip showed that it is possible to do, and maybe other members will take a trip to visit those they would like to see.

I would visit everyone if I had the finances and time to do so. One thing that really shocked me was how young Pete looked for his age. He looked fantastic! Yes, he hurts, but he looked good!

Damouthy1 and Auntbuggy don't live that far away, and I think we will see them this summer providing all of us are healthy enough to do so. There is a possibility that I will be photographing Auntbuggy's daughter as well. She is a beautiful girl and in need of some modeling photos for her portfolio.

One thing is, that once you have met a member and had a great time as we did, you will want to see them again.

Pebbles is getting married sometime this year, and we may go to Vagas when that happens. I personally enjoy meeting these members, but it may not be for everybody, and the exchange of post on the forum is good enough most of them. I have basically worked 7 days a week most of my career, between my aircraft job and the photography business I used to run. My wife says we are getting calls from former clients wanting me to return to the Sports leagues, and right now that is the last thing I want to do. My health is my #1 issue at the moment, and the desire to spend as much time as I can with my wife.

So Chartreux, if you really want to meet some of these members, I encourage you to do so. You certainly won't regret it at all. I think we chose Florida, because we could meet more than one member there in that area. Your not that far away either if you live in Texas, so you never know, we may just take a quick weekend drive down there! Email me and let me know what part of Texas you live in, and I will look it up. Oh and lest I forget, we must take a trip to see Suzane as well. I really enjoyed her husband! He is a super guy!

Didn't mean to rob Pete's BD post, but I know he won't mind either.

Sorry for the rambling here, but the topic of meeting members in person excites me to no end!

Dear Pete,

It is good to hear from you. I am sorry for everything that happened to you last year. You have been through so much. It really seems unfair. I hope more than anything that 2011 is better year for you. You deserve a break. It high time you got a break from it all.

I hope you had a nice Birthday. *hugg* More so, I hope you have been able to slow down and rest more.

*warm hugg*

Thanks So<>So Much for all your replies!!! I figure since I haven't been posting in a while, everyone would have forgot me by now! There are so many neebees, it's GREAT to see them all and know that our dear forum is so alive and well!!! I need to make more time to post but seem to be so busy all the time! It's always something be it running to the store for last minute pet food or a dr's apt, then there's horse poop EVERY day to be delt w/ and of course we hasve to try to sneak in a little fishin, right?
In fact thats where I was this afternoon! I snuck over to the lake and did some bass fishing! I knew that they wouldn't be biting on a full moon and also the cold nights we had been having but a boat ride sounded good. Then a poor old guy probably in his 70's or so happend to be on the launching dock staring at the water when I was dumping my tub in the water. He looked like he wished he was out there on the water, espesially since the temp was about 85+ when I got there!!! So of course being a friendly sort of guy I said> "Looks pretty nice out there, the waters like glass, not a ripple on it!!! Do you feel like fishin today???"
He nodded his head yes and climbed into my big flatbottom tub! He explained that he winters down here from Ohio and that he loves to fish but doesn't know anyone down here to take him! He said he put an add in the local paper but only got one reply who cancelled at the last minute! I was glad I offered to take him, especially adfter he told me that! We trolled around w/ not evan a ghit then p[ulled over by some lilly pads to see if any started their pre-spawning routine. Nope or at least they didn't like what we were throwing at them! No Bait, I seldom use it and never in fresh water! Since nothing was happening, I desided to fly fish so to practice my casting since notghing was biting anyway.
It was really good that I had a streamer fly (one that looks like a baitfish and not a bug!) when I saw a bass crashing bait by the lillies. I threw over to him and bam, he grabed it as soon as it hit the water! Only about 2lbs but what the heck, it was a bass! It was the only fish of the afternoon which is OK cause any real fisherman will tell you> "Sometimes you git em and sometimes you don't!" It was a nice day, little too hot but taking a ride around the lake at 38mph will cool you off when the humidity is so low w/ the nice winter high pressure!
So, sorry this was off topic and not about my shatty year. Who wants to hear about that anyway?? I figured maybe Y'all would rather hear a fishing story than about my ouchies anyway! Now it wasn't anything like the fishing trip that Mikael, Red (Suzanes Hubby) and I took when they were down! There were no manatees around like in the Crystal river or porposes jumping or a big seatrout which surprised the hell out of us (On the first day of closed trout season!) That day was a whole lot more fun for sure!!!
Well my bell just rang and my potatos are done. It's frozen fish again! I need to stock the freezer up soon as I'm almost out!!!
Later my Lovelies & Bro's and to any Newbees who might read this and wonder if this guy is crazy? Yep, I sure am! Welcome to all Y'all my new friends! I'll be back!!!
Love and Pease!!!
Pete

Pete!....you just put a smile on my face reading this post of yours! I'm so glad you took the old man fishing too! It's just like you!

Pete, you should have seen me today at the Dr's office....this old boy has a "Corn"...right on my foot now! I thought for sure it was a shell from Clearwater Beach, bothering my foot! LOL!

How are you feeling? Sure do miss that speedster boat of your gliding on the glass there!

Now, finish your story! We all want to know how your doing!

What a lovely gesture you did for that man. He must have had a wonderful time.

If the sun is out and that hot where you live, then I will be down there in a flash.

i may be back before you know it.

Hope your birthday was a great one.

Oh Suz, it's so great to hear from you!!! I miss Y'all so much already! Mikey, a corn? Don't you guys have enough corn in Kansas already w/o you growing them on your feet? Did you tell the doc that you feel under medicated? Suz, I'll e-mail you cause I want to hear all about your trip!!! I'm glad You & Red had a good trip to Mexico and you know your welcome down here anytime> Love Yuze Gize!!!!!!
Jim, I have a great Dr. now, sorry I didn't finnish the yearly summery> it's too long and depressing anyway! I love my new pain doc! He came after the crazy lady doc got fired and not by me! Then my new doc started his own practice! He wrote me a great letter and filled out my SS disability paperwork stating there is no way I can work anymore then increased my meds!! I love him!!!
Paula, Deb and Loretta your my Angels! Thanks so much for caring about me!
Dani, what can I say? If I had written all about 2010 and my adventures I surely would have put Meeting you, David and my sweet little Bumble Bees the absolute highlight of my year with out a doubt!!!! Thank You for being you!!!
Last night while cooking dinner, my back went crazy!! You know that feeling of a hot ice pick going into your spine that brings you to tears! Payment for working way too hard on my b/d and then fishing yesterday! I knew it was in bad shape before going but said screw it and went anyway! It's still bad this a.m. but I will press through it! I have two days of horse poop to deal w/ now!
OK, done for now! Gotta get some oatmeal & O.J. in me belly!
Love All of Yuze more than Y'all know!!!
Pete
When I was young & stupid I broke almost every bone in my body and I'm paying a heavy price now but I'm still here and so glad to see my two sons grow up to be fine young men, both are in the Navy. I'm so proud! My biggest health problem>> I'm a certified Luny~Tune!!

Pete how are things going on the disability? Did you get a new attorney?
Hope you get it soon. We got one more cold front coming in next week, which is late for Texas,
but after that things will be good. Lets hope there are few Hurricanes this year for
both our States...When do the dolphins start coming in? and when do your boys come back home?
Hope it's soon for you...
