Some of you know that I had a holiday in florida, to meet some of my dear hw friends, and then Mexico,

           which was compliments

of my husband's boss. I had such a wonderful time. The sun did wonders for me. In fact, it brought

my pain level down to a zero. I felt like I was in heaven, like I was normal. I thanked

            God every day.

And so now I have been home for a week and it has been very difficult. My pain is back, the

life as it was is back and I have cried every day wanting that hot sunny weather, feeling me again,

all back. Why, oh why must my life me so difficult. Please send me some of that magic back. I

               just haven't been feeling myself.

Hi Suzane. I'm so happy that you had such a wonderful time and yet so sad that you had to face your pain again when you returned. I wish so badly that there were words I could proffer to take that pain away. Even in the midsts of this you reached out to me and welcomed me. You are truly a great person, a strong person. And I know you will weather this storm.

Here's hoping for sunny days to be headed your way.

Suzanne, it sounds like hot sunny weather is really good for you. Is there anyway possible that you could move to a warmer place, like Vancouver Island or the BC Interior?

If not moving - what about buying one of those Infrared Saunas? The prices are really coming down (there's a two seater in the Sears Spring and Summer catalogue for $800) and they plug into a regular outlet - no special preparations required. The heat and light would be so good for you - the infrared soaks right into your bones to warm you up from the marrow on.

I hope that's something you could seriously look at doing. I'm pretty sure with Sears that you could do payments on it, and I'm sure they must have a guarantee of some type as well, if you don't like it after a certain period of time. It's worth looking into and asking questions, because it's as close a source of heat to the sun in Mexico as you can get around here.

Hope your pain becomes more manageable.

hi Suzanne. I'm so sorry that the wretched pain is back. I was so hoping that the pain would stay away when you got back from your vacation. MsBunky has a good idea.

Oh Suzane,

I wish you could move down here to GA where it is almost always warm and sunny. I prefer the air conditioning to the sun, but then I could see you as often as possible and you would have a new shoulder to lean on when you need it.

I really wish you could find out what is triggering these awful headaches. There has to be a trigger. There has to be a way to find out what it is. I hope someone who knows how to do this will read this post and give suggestions on where to go. If we all band together I'm sure someone can figure out a way for Suzane to have her home and surroundings tested for serious allergens, molds, mildews, or whatever is causing this horrible pain.

Suzane, you are in my prayers.

Suzane so glad to hear that you had a wonderful vacation. I have to ask you a question, you were gone what two weeks on vacation and did very well pain wise, then return home and the headaches are right back. Has anyone or you ever thought of if there is something in your home triggering these headaches? I know you have left home before and did well away and then when you got back the headaches always returned. It is sure something you may want to check into. It really is not as strange as it may sound.

When I was very young I had asthma and one year spent months in the hospital. The drs would get me well and send me home and a week later I was back in the hospital. It was driving my parents nuts and the drs. Finally, a dr asked my parents out of the blue what type of home we lived in and how long had we lived there. We had been moved into this home and that is when the attacks started severely, the house was a cinder block home. Since it was a rental it was no problem moving and that is what they did and I never had to be hospitalized again for the asthma.

Something for you to consider.

Hi Susie
Yes that is what we are looking into now. I have gone to visit my mom on occasions as well but was still sick there.
We definitely want to rule this out. I also have an appt with an allergist in March.

Hi Michael
Yes i have the light therapy at home and am using it.

Thank you my friends.
