TODAY I HAD MY FINAL RADIATION TREATMENT!!  YAY ME!!  IT'S BEEN A LONG NINE MONTHS STARTING WITH SURGERY, THEN WITH MONTHS OF CHEMOTHERAPY , THEN WITH EXTERNAL RADIATION AND THEN INTERNAL RADIATION.  I AM FINALLY DONE AND I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW HAPPY I AM THAT IT IS FINALLY OVER.

THROUGH IT ALL, MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN AT MY SIDE TAKING ME TO ALL APPOINTMENTS, SITTING THERE FOR HOURS WHILE I RECEIVED TREATMENTS AND TAKING CARE OF ME AT HOME ESPECIALLY BY BUYING DINNER WHEN I COULDNT COOK FOR MONTHS.  (WE SURE DID GET TIRED OF TAKE OUT!  LOL)

I WOULD BE REMISS IF I DIDN'T MENTION AND THANK EVERYBODY AT HEALING WELL FOR REMEMBERING ME IN THEIR PRAYERS .  IT HAS BEEN SUCH A COMFORT TO RECEIVE YOUR MESSAGES OF SUPPORT AND HOPE   ALSO.  I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND THIS FORUM AND I AM TRULY GRATEFUL TO ALL OF YOU.

SO, I WILL BE BACK.  POSTING MORE OFTEN AND GETTING BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS.  I HAVE BEEN READING AND TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH ALL OF YOU.  IT HAS BEEN DIFFICULT THOUGH.

SO NOW I PRAY THE CANCER IS GONE FOR GOOD AND MY LIFE RETURNS TO NORMAL AND I WILL CONTINUE TO ENJOY MY PRECIOUS GRANDDAUGHTERS AND MY DAUGHTERS AND HUSBAND.  GOD IS GREAT!!

Congratulations Linda! I remember the day my sister was finally done with her chemo, after we truly believed that we wouldn't be seeing her come out the other side of it......so I am celebrating your completion and praying with all of my heart that you never hear the word cancer again.....
Gentle hugs and many truly warm wishes for the future,
Sandi

Good for you. I felt your post was smiling. Give that husband of yours big hugs and tell him he is a wonderful human being. I have a friend who through her cancer treatment her husband totally checked out and left her to fend for herself and the kindness of people around her, they have been married for over 20 years and did have a wonderful marriage until the hard stuff started. She is now in remission and has filed for divorce. I have been blessed with a great support system and I profusely thank everyone as much as I can. The hard stuff is when the true person steps up. I believe I heard your post just exhale.
