Monday Koffee Klatch

If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.

Daily Question:

Finish the sentence :

My neighbors are ____________

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Seriously, they moved in two months ago but I didn't know until I asked the leasing office.

seem to be pretty nice. I haven't met them all yet. We just moved to another apartment that's on the first floor from one that was in the basement back in September, so I haven't had a chance to meet them all yet.

Depends on which neighbors, really. The one on the west side is almost never home, but a fantastic lady who heads the committee for the yearly arts/crafts show, and heads the local program for Court Child Adovocacy.

The one to the east side is annoying cause her dogs are always barking at us when we're outside trying to relax by our Koi and Turtle ponds, not to mention my ExHusband lives there. =P

Ours are nosy on one side, helpful and friendly in front, and down right rude and obnoxious in back. The sad thing was, the neighbors behind us used to be our friends until we stopped helping them with money and free babysitting. Then our usefulness ran out and I was informed that church is wearing off on us and I had to choose between her friendship and going to church. That wasn't much of a choice. It has been peaceful lately, but I dread what summer will be like when her kids are running loose with no supervision and I am in my garden. She can be very crude and spiteful.

I just try to keep my nose clean, smile and be polite, and pray we move from this neighborhood soon. Family I dont get along with live here too.
The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them. That's the essence of inhumanity. George Bernard Shaw
