  Dear Shannon,

I hope you are recovering well by now? How are you doing? I know you have had a lot on your plate. I know you are to get your biopsy results soon. Stop by when you get a chance and touch base. You are always in our prayers and hearts.

Hi Dani,

Thank you so much for asking. I am recovering pretty well. My neck is still swollen and is now starting to itch like crazy! Though it does look alot better than it did.

I got the results and was told, "Well, no cancer yet" Huh? So much for celebrating lol. I understood what she meant and I am glad that I am not showing any cancer as of now. I still hope that they will find something else that is causing all this havoc on my body.

I will be seeing a new rheumy on the 5th of May, so maybe I will get some news then. My fear is that if they don't find something out and I continue to have all my lymph nodes swelling and multiplying, I will be back having another biopsy done.

I sure hope that isn't what it comes down to. Something is going on and we need to find it. But the biopsy was sure a painful way to go. So, I guess I just take it one day at a time and try to be patient. I will still be hoping for the best (that it doesn't turn out to be lymphoma) but I will deal with what ever comes my way.

How are you feeling my dear? I haven't been on for a little while ( I guess I just needed some time to feel sorry for myself) So I am kind of behind on everyones situation. I sure hope all is well and you are doing better. Once again, thank you for checking on me. I will try to not stay away as much, take care and as always love ya bunches!

Shannon

It's great news knowing it is not cancer but difficult at the same time not knowing what

it is. Keep us up to date and in the meantime take care of yourself and don't overdo it.

   Dear Shannon,

Good morning! *hugg* I am so relieved to hear from you. I got so nervous when you had not posted an update. I am glad you are finally healing. By the way, alone time isn't feeling sorry for yourself. It is just taking care of yourself and focusing on your own health. BIG difference *hugg* I do hope you are able to do a little bit more, maybe even enjoy spring a bit.

It is so good to know it was not cancer.. But, the doctor who did the biopsy, is she the one who is send you to the Rheumatologist? If so, she might have found out a few "possible" that a rheumatologist would be able to treat? Regardless, the damage to your body is happening. Even if they don't have a "name" for what is happening, they are recording the damage. Recording a list of possible causes that is slowly being tested and ruled out. So, it is a start. Not a great start, I sure wish they had an answer.... But it is a start.

Did you put yourself on the cancelation list? It would be nice if the rheumatologist could get you in soon. May seems like such a long wait! You have got to be at your wits end waiting for doctors constantly. *hugg*

I really hope you are able to enjoy early spring. Even if it is just coffee on the porch. PLease know, you are always in our thoughts.

*warm huggs*
