I'm very blessed as my husband is very understanding and tries to help me all he can. Of course, he's doesn't completely understand, but he really tries his best. We never argue about it or anything like that. Sometimes, I like to have my space, and he doesn't understand that, but he gives it to me if I ask.
He really goes beyond what a lot of people I've hear from. I can't get a electric wheelchair or scooter because my insurance won't pay for it and we can't afford to pay for it, so I have one that you have to push. When we got out, he pushes me everywhere we go.
My family and his are out of state from us, so I don't know how much they would be complaining or helpful. I'm sure my mom, sister and nephew would be supportive, but I don't know for sure because I fell after we moved away from them.
As far as friends go, we don't have any here it seems. We have a guy and his son, but they never return our call or come and visit and we have no car. When they used to come around, they were pretty supportive of me.
That's what I can think of. Thanks for the topic Dani.
love and hugs
