Sunday Koffee Klatch

If you are new to this forum family then you may be wondering what kind of goofy question is that on a health care forum. idea   We all suffer with medical conditions and with most of us there is pain involved...sometimes a lot of pain. Or maybe you are the loved one of one of these persons. This forum is all about how we help and support each other, how we gain back more quality to our lives, and how we can learn and share what we gain along the way and hopefully make not only our lives better but the lives of others who come to join us.

But we need to also remember that there is the other side of life...the side that isn't concentrated on illness and pain. That's why we started the daily Koffee Klatch. This is a time to laugh, reminisce, chit-chat about the silly things in our lives...all fun things and no pain. In fact the 'P' word is not allowed...  turn    So each day we share our thoughts or experiences on a different topic. Often it includes food, sometimes we talk about our past, and other times we just get goofy! Laughter is our goal. So, please join us whether this is your very first day on Healing Well or you're a seasoned veteran.

Daily Question:

How are you doing today?

And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood

Well it is 6:45 pm when I am posting, so Easter Day is almost over. I had my granddaughters here with me and my husband and we loved every minute of it. We colored eggs last night at their house and it was wonderful. Of course, through it all, I was in some kind of pain for sure! But I have kept positive and gotten through it all, because my family is my rock. I love them and live for them and my Lord and today, this day, belongs to Him.

God bless all of you and I pray you all had a lpd and enjoyed yourselves.

Believe in yourself.  Be kind to fellow humans and animals.  Take time to smell the flowers and the coffee.
And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

Well, it's 10pm when I'm posting and the night is just about to end. I still want to let everyone know that I've been thinking about them. I didn't have a good day at all until my husband showed me a band that his friend sent him. Their name is Broken Walls. They're a native american christian band, and i just love them. I've been listening to them over and over again. Praising God here by myself.

Calling tomorrow to try to get my script again.

Happy Easter everyone and God bless.

love and hugs
Loretta

Loretta *warm hugg* Gosh, I wish you weren't in so much pain.

My Easter was good. I stayed up late making the girls necklace and earring sets.  Lamp worked glass is always so much fun. Got all the goodies set up and everything ready for Easter, then looked over and saw it was 3:30am. Tried to get to sleep but the pain was pretty bad. Sun came up finally and just enjoyed coffee before the day started.

Had a great day and lots of fun. I am tuckered out! The pain has been hitting the roof all day, but I don't mind. I get a day off tomorrow and I am glad about that. I have needed one of those for a very very long time.

*warm huggs*

I'm glad you had fun Dani. Why didn't you let me know you were on? I guess you're pretty tired. I left a little post on your Facebook page. I hope you can get some sleep tonight and get lots of rest on your day off tomorrow. You sweet one. I know I can always count on you to be the bestest because you are. You dear one. I'm glad we got connected on Facebook. Hopefully we can chat one night or day or soon. I'm feeling a bit better tonight. I asked one of the guys that I went to school with, which is one of my friends on Facebook to pray for me, and he wrote it out and boy did I feel it when I read it and also the group that I'm listening to still is lifted my spirit, so I'm a bit better right now. I sure hope I can convince them tomorrow that I have to have those patches. I'm gonna come right out and tell the receptionist i haven't had one since last Tuesday and i've been going thru withdrawls and sever pain just because i don't have those patches. Well, i'll let you go. You take care.

love ya,
Loretta
