Hi everyone. I'm having a hard day today. The depression has really kicked in today for some reason. I've been crying a lot today, which hasn't helped. I really don't know what else to say. This month as I have said before is a hard month. I guess that's why the depression is hitting hard. I've been going off at people that I really didn't mean to. That's just not like me. I even had to apologize to Jerome because I yelled at him.

I'm sorry I haven't replied to many posts today. I just really don't feel like myself. Do know that I love you all and that I care about the pain and things that everyone is going thru.

You all take care. I hope you're all having a low pain day and night.

love and hugs

Ahhhh, so sorry Loretta. I understand about the depression as I have had a hard time

with miine too. Take it one day at a time, even one hour at a time if that's what you

need to do. I hope and pray that tomorrow will be better for you. Are you on any

antidepressants as that may help. Chronic pain and depression go had in had as

you know (unless your depression is just this month as you are grieving your losses)

       Hang in there.

   Hugs

Thank you all for the support and love.

Suzane. yes, I take Cymbalta for my depression and klonopin for my anxiety. I am hoping to get some good sleep and hopefully tomorrow will be better. It's 11:53pm here, so tomorrow is coming really soon. I know I can always count on all of you to be here for me. My cp family. You're all so dear to me, and you're the best.

I'm so blessed to have my family to come to when I'm going thru a rough day, whether it be pain of the heart or physical pain.

I hope you're all having a low pain night and can get good sleep.

love and hugs

Thanks spinal soldier. I will check into those. You must have done a lot of study on medicinal herbs, vitamins, etc.

I am feeling much better. I felt a bit better the next day after I wrote this, and since then I have been getting more better each day, as far as the depression goes.

Today it's raining though, and my back is screaming at me. I've took my breakthrough meds, put Voltarin gel on my knees, and got my husband to put BenGay on my back. I even took Bayer Back and Body. It has seemed to have helped the pain. It's more manageable now. I just hope that it doesn't come back screaming after everything wears off. I've got my fingers crossed, so to speak.

I hope you all are having a low pain day, and will have a low pain night.

love and lots of soft hugs

Hi Loretta,

Sorry it's been so long. Things have been overwhelming here....as I'm sure you have read. I've also had several stings by a computer virus. I'm not sure where it is coming from and have had to have AT&T work on my machine several times. I'm now positive that it is worth the $9.95 per month for the service for them to fix it, but it takes all day some times. Some crazy "virus warning" thing just popped up again a few minutes ago, but I know better than to deal with that...it's a virus itself and it only popped up when I clicked on HW...so I know it wasn't real.

I compeltely understand about the depression and how badly things can make you feel. I hope things are better for you now!

I was supposed to be out of town for the weekend, but I had some pretty bad pain and nausea from it yesterday afternoon and then had some more problems over night. My daughter and I came home this morning about 5:30 and then I crashed in the recliner about lunch time. To top it off, I just found an oxy on the floor by my chair....so either I dropped one of the two I was supposed to take or dropped one from the bottle. I'm in horrible pain, so I'm betting it was one I was supposed to take, but I can't take the chance and take one now.

Forgive me for being out of contact for a while. You are very important to me, but I have had some personal issues to deal with that I'm not comfortable talking about. I guess I'd rather hide my head in the sand for a while longer.

I do hope things continue to improve for you and that you will be feeling much better soon! I think I'm going to take your idea and go spray on some biofreeze or something like that. I need some relief!!!

Blessings to you my friend.

Thank you RetiredMom. It's so good to see you. I'm so glad that you're back posting again. I've really missed you my friend. I understand how things can get really overwhelming and there are things that you have going on that you would rather not talk about. I have had something going on that I haven't wanted to talk about on here either. I hope your pain has gotten better by now. How is your little girl doing? I'm sure she's looking forward to school being out for the summer.

I hate when people put viruses on our computers. We've had them before and Jerome had to wipe the whole thing clean and start over. Of course, he's a certified computer repairman, so he knows how to fix them. I hope you can avoid opening any of those things anymore. I wish those people would get a life and stop doing such things to people.

Well, i'll let you go for now. I hope you're having a low pain night.

love ya my friend

Well hello there Loretta! wink

Hey!...glad to see you're feeling a little better, and I know I have recommended this to you before, but please consider checking out the "Depression" forum here on HealingWell!

There are some very nice members over there, and "they" will be happy to support you too! Since you have been DX'ed with it, I'm willing to bet, that it might be a good idea to give them a visit. I'm sure you
will be a great asset, and your contribution will be greatly appreciated. It's always a pleasure to support you, as you always unselfishly give of yourself here.

Many of our members attend more than one forum, because of multiple DX's. In fact, I happen to know that some of the members here on the CP forum, that do indeed attend the "Depression" forum, and enjoy it very much.

Take care, and please do consider the other forum when you suffer the blues. Prayers to you my friend!
