Hi!  I'm Screaming Eagle's Sis.  I had back sugery/fusion on May 10 last year (2010).  I've joined this forum to learn and to also ask questions.  I'm going to just lay low for a couple of days before I jump in.  Currently I take 12 Ibprofene and 3- #10 pecs a day.

Here are my procedures:
DDD, Fusion of L3-4, L4-5, S1, rods and screws installed. Bone chipped out to make room for nerves. Hysterectomy in 2004, hip sugery due to injury duing PT for my back March 07, Anxiety/Panic Attacks started 2005.

Hello SEsis, I am glad you got here, are you the little sister who doesnt want to do what your brother says.  Just kidding.  I am sure you have heard what at wonderful place the cp forum is.  I joined in March of 2011, after my youngest daughter found the Healing Well uh, place I am thinking of a word to use instead of place, but my memory is so not what it used to be.

Anyway welcome, SE was so helpful to me when I first started, between SE and straydog, I finally learned how to find what I needed and how to navigate thru the computer.  I just started using the laptop at the same time I came to the cp forum.  I had been very stubborn and scared about all the tecnology that I had allowed to pass me by.  But as the saying goes, better late than never.

Not having a very good day myself, its rainy and humid here, and everything I have that hurts, well its just hurting more.  So good luck to you, hope you are having low pain today, and many many days more.

Hi SEsis and welcome to Healing Well's chronic pain forum. So, you finally decided to join the ranks, I don't think you will be disappointed. This is a very friendly group of people and we do learn from each other. Its nice to have a place to go to where you can discuss pain and they know what you are talking about. The general population just does not understand pain as a rule, but you know sometimes I don't understand it either, so I guess how can I expect someone else to understand if I can't.

Anyway I wanted to pop on and tell you welcome aboard. Take care.

hahahaha Michael's lovely wife is Deborah and you are Debbie, sounds like my family, we have three Charley's; two Louies; two Lucy's; and two Sergios. hahahahahahaha. Funny huh? You should see us at family get togethers. We joke about giving them numbers. One year we called the Lucy's Big Lucy and Little Lucy, but then the big one lost a lot of weight and the next year we had trouble. Hahahahaha.
God bless all.

So funny! That's how it was growing up. I had a cousin Debbie. I was big Debbie and she was little Debbie as she was younger than me. : ) With Michael it's Deborah for his wife and Deb or Debbie for me. So that's not too hard to keep it straight! Nice meeting you all. Debbie

Even though it's always sad to see another person with chronic pain...it's great that there is such a wonderful place like HW to come to and share with others...

Thank you all again for your warm welcome. : ) I'm not sure about sharing childhood stories.....I might get kicked off of here by the brother! HA!

I'm happy to find a place that can help me out and answer questions for me. I'm sure you know that Michael and I both started having back issues around the same time and had our surgeries within 2 months apart. So we're both dealing with chronic pain.

Again thank you all for your warm welcome. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Debbie
