Thank you to all who have checked on me during my short absence.

Sadly, I have a flare up of my ovarian remnant syndrome which is causing more pain along with some extended family issues. I have been reading the forum each day and posting only when I can. So hello to all the new members! You have found a wonderful place of support and caring, and I pray that you find the family here that I found as well.

The wedding is in October. I am hoping that I won't need any more surgeries before it comes, but that is not in my control. I have learned quite a bit about submission in the last few weeks, submission to my situation, submission to being unable to control anything but my emotions and actions, and it has become liberating in a way. The struggle to complete tasks and care for my family and self has become difficult, but pacing eventually comes with submission to the chronic illness causing my pain. At first, I wasn't labeled with an illness because many doctors believe that adhesions can't possibly cause this much pain. Now, many people including myself finally realize that illness doesn't mean disease that shows.

I have missed all of you posting replies and reading your encouraging words. As much as I would love to share everything I am going through, out of respect for the family involved I cannot. Suffice it to say that forgiveness is very hard, especially learning to forgive myself.

I forgot to add that the shawls are coming along nicely....Prayer shawls are being made along with them, and school is close to being complete. I also filed for long-term disability insurance I paid for during my employment, and am praying it is approved. It would help so much with our housing situation.

I hope you are all as well as possible and have low pain.

Good to see you here.  Sorry for all you are going through.
Learning submission is very, very hard.  Each time I think I'm there, another thing comes along - and I realize it's an ongoing thing.  I've had several weeks of doing better myself - and then this last week has been a nightmare and I've missed out on some important things going on.  It's just an ongoing thing, I guess.
Forgiveness is another thing, too.... be it w/ others or yourself.... and I tend to be hardest when forgiving myself.  Again, just another ongoing thing in life....
So, please post when can.... and know that we all are here and care.  I hope your pain stays as low as possible.
Hugs... --Tina
