I love when they recall something they surgically put inside of you. Talk to your doc and asked to be kept informed in case they recall it.

My doc used mesh to repair my abdominal hernia. My brand wasn't recalled but it failed in the same way as the brand that was recalled.

Mom 2 Love,

I am not sure if you saw this comment from "male sling problems" to you in this thread:
Coloplast Virtue Sling Problems .

Here is an excerpt:
"Hello Mom 2 love,

If you click on my user name (male_sling_problems) you will see my email address. Send an email to me and I will give you my phone number.
Hopefully I can help you find some relief from your pain.
It appears to me that Coloplast's Virtue sling is repeating causing extended severe pain that sling recipients were not anticipating.
The Virtue sling that was implanted in my body July 2009 absolutely destroyed my quality of life and almost my life its self due to intolerable pain."

Please contact him. He helped me decide which way to go for my surgery and has more experience and knowledge about bladder slings than you can imagine. And he is a nice guy too!
Email him.
