Anyone out there (females preferrably) hoping I'm not the only one. Back in 2003-04 I began having horrible bladder problems. I ended up having an abdominal incision to go in and do a hysterectomy and bladder lift with mesh. This lasted just a couple years, when i then began to have more pain again. The feeling like you need to go but you can't, the burning, etc. In 2009, my bladder was bad colon end up going thru vaginal wall and with the bladder they both fell out of vagina. Had to live with it for 5 months before could find a surgeon that could do both bladder and bowel surgery. They went in and lifted bladder up, put the colon back into place, and lifted everything in general back up to where it should be. All these problems stem from having 8-pregnancies, 7-live births. This 2nd bladder/rectal surgery lasted just one year when I began having problems again. I had another rectocele and my intestines just quit pushing anything thru. 12-days ago had Loop ileostomy, and right away started having bladder discomfort. Intermittent urine coming out, and now today a lot of burning and feeling need to go but can't. I don't know if during the ileostomy which was done laprioscopy wise, if something during the J-pouch making it affected the bladder...not sure.

So sick of having so many medical problems...i begin to feel like I sound like a broken record and hypocondriac. But all my medical problems are legit. Thanx for letting me vet.

I have had almost the same problems....j pouch, constant bladder problems (even before j pouch), vulvodynia, and a meningioma (that has not had to be removed--yet) Also had a bad motorcycle wreck and had to have multiple leg surgeries--it seems the more surgery I have, the worse it gets....I became addicted to oxycodone, and, they would not admit me to hospital because I am on I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc and I think it is the surgeries....I wish I knew what to tel you, but I advise NO ONE to get a j messes up your perianal muscles....and they do not recover, even if you remove the j pouch...the surgery should be outlawed....wish I could help more.... sad

Oh my Goodness! I am so sorry for you (all of you) and you make me very happy that I decided to cancel my second bladder surgery! I knew it was a bad idea when they gave me a 50/50 chance. I ended up with a failure two months after the first one....and a rectocycle (sp?) after that one. I was just short of the second surgery, with approval already given when I decided NO. It was because the Dr was giving me too low of a success chance and then there was the chance of things getting worse. I'm very happy that I decided not to go through with it now.

I'm sorry I can't contribute more valuable information. I'm also sorry that I can't help, but I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers that everything will go well for you from now on.

All my best!
