Dear Sore...
I admire you getting out.... getting some sun.... and enjoying a nice day!!  It's so easy - when you are sick and hurting - to slip into a routine of not doing things (like you said, giving up on things).... I've been in that place before - and it's not a good place to be.  So, good for you for getting out and taking a walk - and just enjoying the sun.

It's rainy here in California - VERY, very strange for the 1st part of June... so I'm looking for the sun here!!  Not too hot (I can't stand that)... but some sun would be nice.
Good to hear from you.  Hope you have a good weekend. --Tina

        Hello Sore!
I know your really struggling, and wanted to say the same as Tina, in that I admire you pushing yourself just a little to keep active and enjoy what you can. Its important not to sit around all of the time if you can keep from it.
I know you're counting down the days untill your surgery, and it won't be here anytime too soon either. Please remind us, so that we can support you with prayers on that day.
Keep in touch! ...and thanks for posting. Hopefully it will encourage others to do the same.

Nice post Sore. Yes I am happy for the sun. I am trying to be more positive and looking for the

small things in life to get thru my day. In my journal I am trying to write those things and

not how much pain I have or how much I cried. Today the sun was shining so brightly

and the warmth on my skin felt wonderful.

I think it would be nice if we had a thread that was stickied at the top and it would be a positive thread

where we could post something nice about our day, no matter how small or how large. What do you

think Mods?

Take care sore and I hope you have more sunny days in your future.

Hello Sore, everyone called you Sore, so I hope its ok, if not please let me know.  My name is Kathy aka nini53.  You are so right, having the sun shine, blue skys, birds singing, is quite beautiful.
I have to make myself get up and out on many days.  On the days the sun is out, it does make it easier.  I do not get along with rain at all.  I doubt if anyone in the cp family does.  I know for me, rain, and even worse cold rain makes me creak like a rusty well something.
I am in Maryland and its been very hot and humid for several days.  I spoke to Mother Nature and asked if she could hold off on the scorching heat that is the Washington D.C. summer at least for a few more weeks.  It remains to be seen whether she will agree with me or not.
Well, I do not want to babble on, I can tell I am getting tired, the letters start to blur.
Hope you are having low pain today,, and many days more.  take care.

I have to have my sunshine or I am in trouble. Even if I feel rotten I make myself go out on the back porch for awhile. I just wish it were not so hot, 93 out right now and its 7:30 in the evening, tomorrow will be 98. That is just too hot for me and I have so many things I would like to do outside too.

But, good for you Sore for mustering up and getting out for a bit. Take care.
