Thank You all!

This is a great time to give you a little up-date.  As most of you know the house sold, and we closed on the first of June, and I moved out. I actually lived in a hotel for about a week be for moving into a rental house. It is a complicated story, but the house I originally rented and signed a years lease for, .......well the renters violated the lease contract, and they kept changing the date I could get in, so the day I moved out of the house, I was without a place to live! Not a comfortable feeling to say the least! I managed to get another house to rent, and it even has a garage, but it is so tiny compared to what I had, and it is a good thing it has a garage, as it is filled with the stuff that I could not fit into the house. This place actually was a Godsend in disguise as I did not have to sign a lease, and the rent is cheaper and it is a little bigger than the other place and it has a garage. The big thing is no lease, so I do not have to worry about leaving when I find another place where it is warmer and near a military base. The really bad thing about the place is it was extremely dirty and I had to clean it if I wanted to move into it.  The place was unbelieveable! Apparently there were some heavy smokers that lived in the place for many many years, and everything was coated with the residue! So I spent close to a week just cleaning before I started staying there, and had my stuff delivered! That has played havoc with my back and hips not to mention my neck! Anyway I am in the place and slowly unpacking the things I need to live on right now. Most of the stuff is going to remain packed, as I really do not plan on making this my home for all that long!

This coming week, I will be going to up to Chicago area for an MRI and  of my lower back and hips, ( which by the way scares the day-lites out of me! because of the problems I have had  with the last two or three MRI's with over heating!) I have talked to the doctors and MRI folks about it, and they assure me it will be OK and they will watch me closely!  But I ..........................well we will see I guesss!!!! Anyway a day or two after that, I will have to go back up there and I see the surgeons, the hip surgeon again, I will see him  first and then I have to drive a short way and go see the spine surgeon about my lower back. I am a little nervous about doing all this, but I know I need to get this taken car of!

As for my Birthday today, well...... I am going to work at getting my house in order a little more,( actually allot more!) and then I plan on going to town and treating my self to supper at the Lobster place, and then  if I am up to it, posssibly seeing a movie, as there are a couple of them that release today that I kind of want to see!     I really wanted to go up to see my daughter and her family, as they have 15 new born lambs now and a baby pig and a orphan calf they are bottle feeding, but I just could not make the drive right now.

I do Thank You all for the Birthday wishes,  (I am the big "six" "O" today!)

Peace and Blessings to you all!

Happy Birthday WB!!!!

I hope that you are able to enjoy this day and that yummy Lobster!!!! My mom was born in Maine (she lives near me now in VA)....but we go and eat Lobster for her Birthday each year too...:)

And hopefully you can find a movie you want to see...and I'm sure you are like me...I always go to the theatre that has the higher back seats to lean my head/neck on to be less sore...But, ohhh...how I love to just relax and get lost in a great movie and try to forget about my pain and troubles...

Thank you for updating us on your upcoming tests....we will be praying for you...

We are thankful for all that you do to help others here on HW....so I'm glad we can celebrate you today:)

I just want to again say THANK-YOU for all the Birthday wishes!  And Yes,  I did go out to eat to the place with the red lobster,  and  I did something that I have always wanted to do but never did,  until tonight that is. I went to there tank  with all the lobsters in it at the  front of the place, and  I picked out the lobster that I wanted and  that is what I had for supper! I had it with a house salad with thousand island dressing and french fries  and two containers of melted drawn butter, and of course the lobster, and then I had the hot apple carmel nut cobbler with ice cream for my destert, and I had  five of their cheezy buttery biscuits, then I went to the movie and seen the Green lantern in 3D,  I had a good time, it would have been allot better if I had not been alone, but........ I enjoyed it,  just the same! It was nice getting out of the house anyway!  So that was my evening!

Thank You, my healing well, chronic pain family for everything you have done for me!

WB,

I went to see Green Latern tonight w/ the boys... it was good, huh?

Your dinner sounds wonderful... and makes me hungry.

Glad you had a good dinner and got out to the movies.  Hope you are resting tonight.... you've sure had your hands full w/ the move, cleaning the new house, etc.  Take care of yourself.... and try not to overdo (I know, right? huh...).

Happy Birthday again.
