Hiya Guys

Thank you for all the good wishes, you always know how to make me feel happy again. Anyway I went to see PM doctor today and I was surprised it was someone different than the one I saw last time. She was lovely and could see I was clearly in pain. She has upped my meds for me woohoo :-) and I am sitting here today with a pain level of a 4 which is fantastic. I am sure this will make me feel a lot better and help me get through the day better. She is really happy with the way I am progressing exercise wise that is and she said she will be managing my pain meds before and after my surgery. I am so made up that she is a nice lady and I felt relaxed around her. So now I am looking forward to when my surgery date arrives and am sure I am in the right hands after I have had it.

I am off work today due to having the hospital appointment and I booked the afternoon to do some professional development by looking at new resources for the children I teach in Science. I also have a day off tomorrow as the teaching unions are striking because of the government messing about with our pensions, making us pay more into it, work until we are 66 (and they want to make it 68) and all tis on top of a pay freeze.

Found out on Monday after work that my dog has cancer of the toe, vet wants me to take him in tomorrow to get x-rays done on his chest. He has said if the cancer has reached his lungs there is nothing he can do for him as he is 13 and may not pull though all the treatment. On a brighter note though he has said that if its not in his lungs he can amputate his toe and send it off for tests to see what we are dealing with. So fingerscrossed guys for my little old man that all is well and its only his toe he is losing.

Well my gosh I have gone on so much, must be this increase in meds ;-)

I wish all of you guys a very low pain day and pass on loads of gentle ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) your way

That is wonderful news about your PM appt.!...That just shows how things can turn around and go from despair and then hope again so it's always good to keep that hope:)...

How amazing to get to a 4...that is fantastic!

Ugh...the work thing I'm sure is awful...In NJ it already passed with making people pay more into their pensions, as well as took away collective bargaining for health care. Boooo...

And I will say some prayers for your doggy...keep us posted and I hope it's the news that it hasn't spread...

Sending hugs (( ))

Congratulations Sue. I'm happy to hear that the doctor increased your mesds and that your pain level is down. Now if you could just get your surgery date.

I'm sorry about your doggie. I will be hoping and praying that it's just in his toe. It's so sad.

You take care.

love and hugs
