Hey Loretta, I am so glad to hear you got your patches, this is great news. I have no idea where you live, but I take public transportation to get around. I live in Maryland and am about
10-15 miles from Washington D.C., I also live about
20 miles from Baltimore, I guess my point is this area has plenty of public transportation.
I have been taking public transportation for about 10 years now, and although it is great, I havea a medicare card and that allows me a discount for the bus. I need to have my doctor fill out some paperwork so I can get what is called Metro Access. Metro Access will pick you up at your door and take you anywhere you need to go, grocery, drs appt. etc. you only need schedule a day or two ahead of time for them to come get you and bring you home.
I also have talked it over with my youngest daughter and her fiance, and they think I should get my drivers license again. So after much thought, I decided that is what I am going to do. I am terrified, I have to take the driving test again, I am not scared of the driving part, just the written part, you know they have trick questions on it.
Well once again I have run on and on about me, when this started as a congrats to you Loretta.
This was great news for you, I am very glad it worked out the way it did for you, hope you will be feeling much better very soon.
