I finally got my scs unit re-programed. You know what that means? I actually get relief from the rock that's in my back. At least that's what I call it. When I push on it to charge it or change the "amp" it feels like a rock. When Danielle(rep) was adjusting the levels today she told me that I would take about 1yr to heal. I'm sure someone told me that already, but when you're in a hurry to "be normal" again stuff like that goes in one ear and out the other. Oh well, guess I gotta be a weeeee bit more patient. At least my fear that one of the leads moved or went bad. Yea, I'm that kind of person, either hurry up and work or hurry up and break.

I am so glad you are energized and working! I cant wait to get mine placed. I had such good pain relief when I had my trial. Just cant find a dr to do the permanent paddles due to my multiple dx's. Hoping to have that rock feeling in the next few months, lol.

I was always told by the rep that it can take many "reprogrammings" to find a great combination, but that is what your rep is there for.

Take care of yourself and dont over do it once you get feeling a bit normal!

Big hugs,
DX: CRPS/RSD full body, Fibro, CP, DDD, DJD, OSA, Syringomyelia, Arachnoiditis, failed fusion. Fusions C5-6, L5-S1, hardware removal and removal of scar tissue. SCS trial successful awaiting placement.
MEDS:To many to mention, changes every week it seems.

Good for you Kat. I'm so happy that your SCS is working for you. Please do be careful when your pain goes down, and don't overdo. I hope you're having some pain relief now that it is re-programmed. Good luck.

love and hugs
