Hey Straydog, is that true, about the lack of schooling needed for pm doctors, excuse me, I should be saying are you kidding me, I had no idea that pm doctors did not have to have the type of schooling most all medical doctors need.

I feel very fortunate that my pm doctor is also a spine and back doctor with all the medical degrees needed, at least I am almost positive he has them all.  He has degrees hanging all over his office, and the ones I have read, read the same as I have seen in my gp office.  Actually my pm doctor has like 3 times as many degrees as she has as he is a surgeon.

I have to tell you when I read that, I was blown away.  I think back now to some of the bozo's I have seen over the years, and it all makes sense now.  I have never been to a chiropracter as it is impossible to touch my back in any way, let alone some of the ways I have seen chiropracter work, (I am ashamed to say, tv is the only way I have seen a chiropracter work).  My sister is a Massage Therapist and she has had extensive schooling  in her line of work.  She has been a certified Massage Therapist for many years and each year takes class after class.

Well as the saying goes, you learn something everyday (ok sorry about the pun).

Take care and hope you are feeling well.

No problem, I have had the same kind of day with this laptop.  I would like to think its the heat that is affecting its performance, but I dont know.

In the mean time, I am battling a bad case of insomnia, and I can tell you by now, I am starting to hallucinate.  Since Wed. I havent had more than 4-5 hours of sleep.  Usually I can get a handle on it by now, but its really being stubborn this time.  I have tried every remedy I can think of.  I am beginning to think I am just going to have to crash one of these times when I lay down.

I didnt sleep at all last night, thought I would take a nap sometime today.  But again, this didnt happen, my grandaughter is here, we have been playing "a day at the salon" for about 2 hours now.  But its not hard work, I just sit there while she applys makeup to my face, then its on to my hair, which she puts a bucket of gel on, then finally my nails, which since it is dollar store nail polish, I think I am getting a buzz from the fumes. lol

Ok thank you for responding anyway, I looked further into the whole education thing, (since I was awake anyway) and its complicated but legit.

Take care of yourself, and have a lovely weekend.

Hey Kathy I do understand the insomnia thing. For nearly three years now my max of sleep time at night is 3 hours. It does not matter if I am taking BT meds plus a muscle relaxer as I am having to do now, its still 3 hours no matter what. I do not go and lay down during the day and nap either, never was able to do that. I have tried too. I am so tired and exhausted all the time that I don't know which end is up anymore. I don't do sleeping pills either, they are not for me.

I have tried and done everything I know and still cannot sleep more than 3 hours a night. Sometimes during the day if I sit down for very long I will nod off for maybe 30 minutes to an hour and thats it.

I had another tech out here yesterday and the internet is still not fixed, maybe by Tuesday he said. I am so disgusted and really doubt it will will be fixed.
