This is the correct website for visiting the ER on WebMD. I'm sorry for the mess up.

I see some good points made in the article.I am a fan of the State or Provincial data bases that allow ER's to check, at a glance if the patient is double or triple doctoring to get excessive narcotics. My hope is that the more crooks caught will eventually make it easier for the legitimate chronic pain patients to be treated much better. Thanks for the head's up on the article and may you too, have a low pain day tomorrow Loretta.

That was a good write up. Thanks for sharing.

The one time, other than when I first started having back pain, that I ended up in the ER I followed most of what was listed on there. I had simply asked myself what is going to make this go as smoothly as possible so I took my empty pill bottles with me (I still had 2 months worth of bottles laying around), had my doctor's full name and the office phone number and took the print out of the appointment that had been canceled on me. I also was able to take a print out of my medication record that I downloaded from my pharmacy.

I never asked for them to write me a script for what I was currently taking. I simply asked for them to help me with the pain until I could finally get some results through my doctor.

Thanks and your welcome. I have to take care of my family here the best I can.

Yes I have a new month's worth of pain meds with no problems at all. I called the doctor's office a week before they were due. I got them this pas Wednesday, Jerome took them in to the pharmacy and I picked them up on Thursday. I had my last patch on and it was due to be changed on Friday. So, Thank God, everything is finally the way it should be with my meds.

Now if we could get the money in the next few days to order the air condititioner off of Walmart's website, I would feel better. I'm in a lot of pain again tonight and I think part of it has to do with the heat and humidity. I sure wish the humidity would go down, and then it wouldn't be as bad.

Take care everyone. I hope you're all having a low pain night.

love and hugs
