Pretty much everyone here at the forum knows there are rules in place that we must abide by here at the forum. The rules in place are set out by the owner/administrator. It is the mods job here at Healing Well to help insure the rules are followed. One of the least liked jobs of being a mod is having to go in and edit someone's post, many times the person gets mad because this is done. Screaming Eagle and I have been discussing the problem lately with the language (curse words) being used in some of the posts and it is against forum rules to use this language. Please do not try to use a word and add symbols to indicate the word you want to use either, as this is not permitted. Healing Well is a family oriented forum and there is a great potential for young children to be reading the posts because it is after all a public forum. So, lets keep it clean here. The best way I can think to put it is, if you don't want the owner/administrator's young children reading your post, then you should not be putting it out here at the forum. I borrowed that phrase from another mod here at the forum. If you have not read the rules please take some time and become familiar with them.
Our forum is here is to offer support to people that are afflicted with chronic pain. When posting here at the forum please keep your post to a reasonable length and related to chronic pain issues pursuant to rules set out here at the forum. Many of you may not know that the owner is charged per letter in each word that you type here at the forum. We all need to do our part in helping to keep the costs down on our end by not writing long posts that have nothing to do chronic pain or the issues related to chronic pain. For those wishing to interact with others in more of a chat room style setting visit Healing Well on FaceBook. Also, check with the chat rooms from time to time there is usually someone in a chat room. We all need to do our part to help keep this forum free for us to use.
Also, we do have a Search feature here at the forum that has a lot of excellent information that is usually current and up-to-date. Rather than start a post about
a subject that has been discussed over and over, check it out on the Search. Then, if you don't find the information you are looking for post the question here at the forum. One thing we see a lot of is people asking about
medications and that is something that can be looked up in the Search feature. Usually it is quicker to use the Search feature rather than waiting on someone to come along and see your post and maybe answer. A lot of times people get tired of discussing the same thing over and over and they will ignore the post.
We need every ones help to keep things running smoothly. Thanks for helping us do that, Straydog & ScreamingEagle.
