Frustrated, just really frustrated...on Saturday I fell, the floors were all smooth
no bumps or humps, my left foot simply did not move and I fell and my right knee is sore from
this fall, today I dropped something from my good hand (right handed), I've told doctor before
that I drop things and will fall or trip, usually trip cause I can catch my self before I go down...

I don't know if this is being caused by my RA or not, my right hand has the RA in it so my Rheumy doctor will
probably say it was the RA, but I disagree as I usually drop things with my left hand, anyways.. it's
just bothering me and I need to vent it out...wish my pm doc or rheumy would listen, I did have very low b-12's
last year, but I've been supplementing it very good...so it shouldn't be that anymore....mad so mad...
had the cup of cat food in my right hand when it dropped, so had to get down to pick some of it back
up so I wouldn't over feed my boy toys...(3 biggie kitties and 1 new lil kitten)...

Hope everyone is having a better week.... mad

I think you should make an appointment with your PCP and/or with a neurologist.

I agree with Jim, this could be the beginnings of a nerve problem, but instead of wondering, go have yourself looked at, and although I find most neurosurgeons to be more than a little arrogant, with some issues.

Sorry, I am going to stop now.  You must see a doctor and probably can get a referral from your gp and they can recommend a good neurosurgeon.

Sorry to hear that Chart:(...

I agree that you should go to a PCP or straight to a Neurologist to let them check out other issues before they come up with it just being the RA...

I am sending you some big..but gentle hugs (( ))

Hi Chart I'm so sorry this is happening to you. ((((((((((hugz))))))))))

I agree, you need to see your doctor ASAP, a neurologist since you are dropping things and tripping and falling. Take care of yourself.

love and lots of soft hugs

       WOW!...Chartreux!

Are you using a walker or a cane of some sorts? Anything? I'm scared for any of you that fall on a regular basis. I know of one other member that is falling quite regularly...and I cringe when I hear about it.

....as you all know our good friend Privey fell several times, and this is what led to her passing, with a bleed on the brain. Please! Please!...do very careful! I cannot plea this enough to you!...or for anyone else for that matter! If you keep doing this...and of course I know you don't plan it,....but one of these times it may be just one time too many.

....ok!...one last time!...Please be very careful!

      Take care,

Char,

My heart breaks that you are going through this. You and I have been friends for so long and I hate to hear that you are having worsening troubles.

Definitely get your doctor's evaluation and don't settle if you don't agree and think that he is taking it for granted. Push for a referral to a neurologist to get a thorough eval. You deserve it, Char.

Please let us know what happens. Meanwhile, I will be praying for you.

God bless.

And by all means, when you are down, ask me for help.  I will be there.

Chartreux, sorry to hear you're going through this. I know that you have alot to do getting your daughter settled for school. I hope you are using a cane to help with balance issues and that you have made an appt to see a Dr.

I am concerned and I don't even really know you, please keep us informed.
Take care
Rose
