Dear CP family, our Tina (Momto8kids) is very sick, and she asked me to update all of you here. I decided to copy and paste what she wrote me, so that you can hear it from her firsthand.

She is in need of desperate prayers from all of us. As many of you know, she and her husband have 8 children, and I believe she home schools some of them, plus she of course has the twins to look after as well.

  Tina Wrote:

I keep getting sicker and sicker.  I barely have had the strength to walk across the room most days.  Well, yesterday I got a call from my doctor (I had blood work last week).  They asked that I come in as soon as possible - so I go tomorrow @ 11am.  I guess my blood work is all messed up....

Remember I had a blood transfusion w/ the babies?  Well I'm still severly anemic - which is why I don't have the strength to hardly walk or talk.  I have no estrogen or testoterone... and just a ton of other things are out of whack.  They are mostly worried because of the effects this will have on my heart.

I'm glad something came back - as weird as it's sounds - because I was starting to think it was all in my mind ;)  And I'm praying whatever "treatment" they give me works quickly.....

So - that's my update!  Last evening, Bobby got home at 5pm - and by 5:30pm - I was in bed.  I didn't wake up until 7am.  I had to pee so bad during the night - and didn't even have the strength to get up :(

I haven't read the board really in a week or so.  I've scanned it through - but I have no idea what's going on... but please share with all, that I'm just really sick right now - but I'll be back :)

End of Post:

...as you can see, she is not in a good place at this time, and suffers from many other aliments that many of you do not realize. She is a strong little cookie, but after a while, even the best of us, get beat down too low, and need help to get back on track.

Tina...I think of you often, and hope you get back on you're feet quickly. You are missed dearly here on the forum, and we will be praying for you!

    Take care,

...just a quick update on Tina!
Her husband called me yesterday afternoon, and said they admitted her to the hospital yesterday. She is not doing well at all, and her blood work came back, showing multiple deficiencies' ....I believe the main worry is the heart problems compounded with the rest of the problems....and trust me, she has a lot of medical problems. shakehead
I asked him how he was holding up, and I could tell he is worried, and has the eight children all by himself. I'm thinking that because he has the kids to look after, he is unable to be with his wife much while she is there. He said he put a call into their church seeking some help with the children. The in-laws are out of town, so he is truly on his own here.
With any luck, and if all goes well, there is a chance that Tina will be home late today, but at this time it's a long shot, and even if she does...it will be a while before she is back on her feet.
Her husband reminds me of Suzane's (tmjpain) hubby....a wonderful father and husband....who cherishes his wife as should be. That makes him tops in my book!
....so at this point we ask you to keep the whole family in your prayers, as they need it desperatly.
Thanks for your concern, and I will update again, as soon as I hear more from them.
Take care, and have a great weekend!
    SE wink
Forgot to add... that they did a blood transfusion.

Thank you for the update SE!! I am continuing the prayers...

I hope that their church is like mine in that all my friends jump to action immediately and will offer help, love, and support in any possible way that is needed for as long as needed!...

I hope that some of the deficiences can be solved fairly easily with some supplements...that would be a great blessing..

Hopefully she will also be released soon as that would be fantastic news if they feel her heart issues are stable enough to not need hospitalization and can be monitored at home..

Tina....We are sending you and your whole family hugs and love!!!!

Thank you to everyone here for your kindness, thoughts and prayers.  It brings tears to my eyes.  Thank you to Michael for updating everyone - you are a wonderful friend.  I honestly thought of you all as I was in the hospital.... I'm going to start a new thread to update things... but thank you to each one of you for the thoughts and prayers that pulled me through.  --Tina

When I first read the post I thought , she will get a blood transfusion and will feel a whole lot better.  They need to determine where she is bleeding from and then fix that problem.  I'm sure her electrolytes were off too, due to the low blood couts.  I will pray earnestly that God intervenes and blesses this family with solutions and good health.  With school starting soon, that should be a help in a way.  The kids will be somewhere during the day and learing from their teachers, now the babies, thats another story.
Get well sweety.  We all miss you.
God bless you.
