Hey Everyone

I am so sorry I haven't been posting lately, I have really been struggling with my health and had absolutely no energy on top of all the pain and other issues! I have tried to read a bit so do know a bit about how everyone is, but hope to start posting more now.

My cancer is just about in remission which is such good news, but haven't got the all clear yet.

Chronic pain and infections are pretty out of control, they have caused disease in my intestines along with a lot of scar tissue all through my intestines and all through my abdomen and body, so I now have scar tissue causing more pain and adhesions which are pulling on my intestines and i have so much scar tissue around my liver damaging it, it's also very inflamed from the infections. I have adhesions all around my organs which is causing so much pain aswell.

I also have just been tested for Addisons Disease (to do with my adrenal glands) because i have been having some horrible symptoms, all of those to do with addisons!

I haven't slept for more than 4 hours a night in months, so chronic fatigue is horrible and not getting any better, but hopefully things will settle down soon, I have tried everything for sleep other than meds but mum is worried about me being on more meds, but it may be the only option soon!

Other than everything going on with my health (haven't evne listed half of the problems here!!) school has been CRAZY with exams coming up and just SO much going on, we have elections for school prefects this week aswell!

So I'm sorry to have dissapeared but I'm back :)

Look forward to chatting to you all more

Hello Buttercup.

I have missed you. I simply cannot explain how your struggle amazes me and gives strength when I don't think I can deal with my own.

I will keep you in my prayers and continue to think of you often.

Hiya Buttercup! I am not sure if remember me or not, I was gone for quite awhile. I did come on and lurk though and read what you have been going through.

I am so sorry that you are dealing with all this at such a tender age. I refrain from saying young because you are wise far beyond your years. I sure hope that things start going right for you. You are an amazing young lady with strength beyond comprehension!

Please continue to update us, as you know we all worry when we don't hear...Take care my dear and as always you are in my prayers.

I have adrenal insuffinciency, right on the borderline of Addison's..... w/ many similar symptoms.

Are you going to a regular school?? I'm just really surprised, given the health issues you have and the need to prevent infection that you would be allowed to attend school. Just curious.... plus it sounds like your energy is pretty non-existent.

Thanks for the replies,

Tina, yes I have been going to school, a lot of the time only a few hours a day and missing some days but getting there for a bit, i was told i could go to school if i really wanted to aslong as i am careful and i've been having immune shots. we decided it was best that i try and get to school just so i don't get depressed and also stressed about the things i am missing, so just taking it day by day although i do have exams soon which is getting pretty stressful but i'll manage :)

I'm sorry - I can't remember your exact diagnosis.... but I do know that you've done chemo and some other stuff. Like I said - I understand the depression part, better than anyone :) - but, again, I am just surprised about the school thing.... because even w/ my compromised immune system, I'm limited as to the things I can do, etc.

Whatever the case, I wish you well.
