We have the remnants of Tropical storm Lee. He has been visiting since Tuesday. I wish he would go home.

The rain just keeps falling, has been falling for days. Tuesday we had a high of 60, yesterday 67, and today we have only hit 67 degrees. I am not used to such rapid temperature changes. My bones and joints are protesting, and the increased pain from the Lupron is not helping that pain. I have bundled up in my comfy fleece blanket with warm tea and hot apple cider all day.

The boys also shared their summer illness with me two weeks ago. The coughing and sneezing pulls on the pelvic adhesions which increases the normal pain levels. I am ready for that ick to be over. My fiance caught it right after the boys, and Mom is always the last to have it. It seems like with the CP and related medical issues, the colds and flus all last longer.

We are at 29 days until the wedding. The only things left are small things, like putting something pretty on tote bags that I decorated with their monograms and put their crocheted shawls in. Wrapping the gifts for them, groomsmen, parents, and friends helping with so much. We have a few appointments here and there for alterations and tuxes, finalizing the ceremony, stuff like that.

My fiance has noticed that I get more work done on my laptop when reclining. He had the idea of a lap desk, until he saw how much they can cost. He came up with the idea to make one here from a wooden plank we had for a craft, fabric, and bean bag chair filling. Our project this weekend is to create that together. I am looking forward to it. We have deliberately kept every weekend this month open to spend as a family just to keep the sanity as long as possible. Most of what I am worried about is staying on my feet that long and dancing with my soon-to-be husband. Keeping my fingers crossed that no more medical issues come up in the next 29 days.

Hey MM, it does sound like you are getting all the little nasty things out of the way now, so that when the big day rolls around you will doing fine. By that I mean, the kids getting their bug over and done with, same with you & hubby to be. Its just got to be smooth sailing from here on out for the big day. I think you will agree if it has to happen, let is be now not later.

I would very much like for you to send that rain to Texas. We are in dire need of water here, too many acres of land burned up, homes and life have been lost as a result of this drought. They are saying this is one of the worst ever for our state.

Keep your chin up, you can do this and will be all set for the wedding day. Take care.

Hey everybody, haven't been on in a while. Had to put everything back on the shelves from the quake, then use my shampoo cleaner that sucks it up because my basement flooded from the hurricane. The pressure from all these storms must have everybody hurting because I know I hurt. I live in a flood zone so all the rain we've been getting this week(MD) has meant I've been in my basement with my shampooer. I couldn't wait for this storm to pass, now we have another one on the way. I didn't think tea weather was here already! With all this standing, it feels like my battery pack is closer to the surface. Is that possible?

Hi MM I see now that it's 21 days before your big day. It sounds like you've pretty well got most of the stuff done for the wedding. That's such a great idea to make your gitls crocheted shawls and put them in decorated bags. I wish I knew how to crochet them. I like crocheting blankets and other easy things like pot holders.

I am glad that Lee has left and gone home to never bother you guys again.

I hope your pain is better now. We got really lucky that Lee got close, but didn't hit close enough to give us any rain or anything. Just high winds.

Please let us know how things are going. I just love it. It's been 17 years since Jerome and I got married, and I'm excited to hear about your wedding. I just know that things will go fine.

love and hugs
