Does anyone else with have issues with losing strength and grip in their hands after using them to do things like grip a handle or use a spray can? I am finding that if I do anything like that I am unable to hold small objects for hours, if not days, afterwards. It is most unsettling because I paint and not being able to paint would just about destroy me :( One example is I was running our weed whacker the other day and the vibrations made me lose use of my left arm and hand for almost two days, another thing is if I have to hold something like a coffee cup or anything with a smaller handle. I just cannot do it for very long without "losing me hand"

My doctors just brush this off when I bring it up but it has gone from being mildly annoying to a huge, daily issue that is affecting not only what I can do but how I do it.

also, if you have had these problems have you tried to the arthritis gloves and do they help? I do not want to spend money on them if they do not help.

        Good morning ekko!

I believe I would find another Dr! When I read your post here, the thing that came to mind was "Carpal tunnel syndrome" Have you been checked for that? I'm guessing as a painter who uses repetive motion on a daily bases this might be a possibilty for you.

The only other thing you might have checked out is your Cervical Spine, and see if there is a problem there, as it can certianly affect your arms and hands.

      Take care,
