yes, Isure can't wait as even with a 70%chance of working ,Iwill be happy if half the pain is gone ,yesterday it was cold /rainning,seems bad weather makes the pain more untolerable, yesterday was constant pain ,today I'm sore but Ihave to block the pain with my mind and get afew things done so I'm ready for the hospital. It's hard to imagine getting a rib removed takes about 2months to heal?seems long to me?It will be so nice to be able to do simple tasks again ,like I had to adress an envelope and it took 3trys before it looked good enough to mai,not so easy writing with the other hand?Even having a shower is hard at times when my wrist hurts so much it feels broken.I'm a bit scared but ,it can't get any worst ! Its such a daily struggle the way things are for me now,it can only get better!yes it might take sometime to recover, but Iwill do what it takes to get there.  take care everyone, michele

Hi Michele, one week huh? That's exciting and yet scary too. I did the same thing, went crazy trying to get everything done before surgery. It's really hard when you are hurting.

I hope this will be your new lease on life and that your pain will decrease finally. It will take some time to heal and as others said above we will be here for you! Take care.

          Good morning Michele!

I just have to get in on the support for you as well. As tyou can see the members are very supportive of you...and they are very sincere about it. wink

We are excited for you, and hope things go as planned. I'm guessing you have everything packed for the hospital, and the home in order. Did you ever get the in home health care nurse set up as well? That will be lovely for you, if you can get the help.

Take care, and the clock is ticking! It won't be long! wink
