Saturday I started feeling pain in my middle back on my left side, been peeing 8-10 times a day, and feeling really lethargic. I thought maybe it was a kidney infection but I don't have bladder infection symptoms. Any ideas? I'm planning on making an appt to see my dr tomorrow. The biggest thing is I just feel "off".

Hope your feeling better soon, and getting some low pain days...

You need to see a doctor hon. Til you get in do the basics: hydrate, rest, and try to get some nutrition in you. If it becomes like "blah" for eating you can do things like nutritious shakes, including Ensure. Gaterade (Prob spelled that wrong but you know what I mean) is a good hydration drink because it has electroides (bah I know I spelled that wrong, but I couldnt ever spell it). Soup is easy and fast, you can even stick it in the microwave. I'd do chicken noodle for the protien, and how good it is (and I only use chicken noodle when I'm ill) . Broths are good too, has nutrition. I hope you feel better soon. Keep us updated!

Thanks so much everyone. I think I figured out the culprit. I'll still be making an appt. to see my dr. I am on estrogen patches because of my hysterectomy due to endo and cysts. A couple of weeks ago my dr put me on a lower dose of estrogen, and it was shortly after that that I started feeling "off". I put on my original regular dose of estrogen patch last night and now I'm feeling like myself again. I was having serious hot flashes too, so I have a feeling it was the hormones, or lack there of that was causing my feeling weird. I haven't had a hot flash and have been feeling normal again. Thanks so much for all your advice. It really helps to know there are people who care and have advice. I know it's not in place of a dr, but it's still good to know.

On the plus side, my pain med's are still working, knock on wood. I'm on hydrocodone 10/325 3-4 times a day, 800 mg ibuprofen, and for breakthrough pain-oxycodone 10mg. Seems to be doing the job, granted I still have some days where I need to rest more than others. But I'm def. at a good place right now.

However I do need to see a neurologist about my cervical spine, it's been causing problems with headaches, arm pain, etc...for some time now and I know I need to get it checked out. I'll keep you all posted as to what I figure out on that end.

SmurfyShadow- I see you're the "walking medical mystery". OMG, that is SO ME. I don't know how many times I've heard doctors say "we've never had a patient with this many complications, problems, etc...."

Have a great day everyone, and again, thank you so much
