Hi everyone I wanted to let my online family know that I'm sick, so don't be surprised if I'm not on the forum much in the next few days. Jerome has had a cold or something for over a week, and I guess I caught it. I woke up today with a really bad sore throat. I haven't had a sore throat this bad in a long time. I also have the congested nose to go along with it.

My back has been hurting pretty bad the last couple of days as well.

Everyone take care. I hope you're all having a low pain day.

love and hugs

Loretta I am really sorry that you are going through this. My college student daughter had it last week and "graciously" shared it with me. She is better but I feel pretty low the last couple days. I don't know where you live but I think this crud is pretty wide spread. I live in Michigan, my daughter goes to school in Wisconsin and I have a friend in Tennessee whose whole family has it at the same time. Not a fun time at their house this weekend.

I guess we just need to rest when we can but not sit or lay down for too long because that will make things more sore. I know, easier said than done. Hang in there.

Thank you Lee and Betsey. We went and stocked up on cold meds, cough drops and sort throat lozenges. I've been trying to drink lots of fluids.

Lee I live near Buffal, NY. I guess this crud is widespread. I hope you feel better as well.

You two take care. I hope you're having a low pain night.

Thank you Tina. I'm feeling a bit better. At least I don't have the horrid sore throat. I can't remember my throat being so sore.

I'm glad to hear that you and your family are feeling better. How are you doing ? I hope your pain and other medical problems are tolerable today. Take care.

Hey kiddo! I'm glad to hear that your feeling a bit better. Aren't those sore throats just awful! shakehead

Have you been eating or drinking some chicken soup? It may help a little. Maybe a little numbs-it tooth pain reliever painted on a piece of food might help. Sounds silly I know, but at this point I bet you will try just about anything to help with the throat pain.

Take care, and stay inside until your well dear! wink

Thank you Michael. We didn't have chicken noodle soup, but I did drink warm fluids and it felt so good once I go thru the very worst. I could barely swallow anything for 2 days. It was horrible.

I appreciate you checking up on me.

Take care. I hope you're having a low pain night.
