Does anyone know what possible diagnosis is associated with a positive ANA, elevated anti-rnp at 4.5 and an elevated ESR of 82? I just need possibilities.....something to discuss with my MD. I have had 2 major ain episodes in the last 2 weeks. No one is listening to me.

Gdzilla,
I don't think that any one here would have any ideas of what conditions may cause those levels. We are just a bunch of other chronic pain patients. I'm sure that your physician will know what those levels mean and what conditions they may or may not indicate.
You would probably be better off waiting until you see the doctor , as there are many things that could cause those levels and reading about them on the internet can scare someone .
I think that your doctor must be listening, otherwise he wouldn't have ordered those tests for you. Give him a chance to help you.
I'm sorry that you are in pain. We all know how debilitating pain can be. Good luck,

There are a number of possibilities of what these results could be, and I think it is best left up to your doctor to diagnose you. The labs you had done are usually done to look for autoimmune diseases, and your findings are consistent with an autoimmune disease. Usually more tests are needed for a definitive diagnosis.

Good luck in finding a diagnosis.
