in January, was taken off methotrexate for RA due to a reaction (drys me out,
will see rheumy doc later this month. can't get in any sooner...might
ask if saline iv would help keep me from drying out so bad, maybe a permanant
iv so I can keep hydrated) and very depressed at the moment...

well wishes to all............

I am so sorry you are having so much trouble! I do hope your Doctors can do something that will help you!
I do not blame you one bit for being  upset, when your own family members don't remember your birthday, that is something to be upset about!  I know they often make commericals about a husband forgetting either a spouses birthday or anniversary and then remembering at the very last moment. But that is just advertising. For some product or something. Not real life! I am sorry, Chart, I think you have  very good reason to cry and be upset! I personally don't see any excuse for a spouse or family member to forget something like that! Please  know Chart,  that you have your family here to understand, be here with  you! Happy Birthday my CP friend!

Hi Chartreaux I hope you can get to your doctor and feel better really soon.

I'm so sorry that your husband and other family members forgot your birthday. That's just uncalled for. There's no excuse. I don't blame you at all for being upset.

I hope the vertigo went away and you're not so dizzy now. Like Whitebeard said, we're your family and we're here for you. Again, Happy Birthday.

love and hugs

Sorry to hear about the birthday fiasco Chart. Hope your rheumy can figure out something else to control your RA without the hydration problems your having now. I read alot about mtx before starting it but don't remember seeing anything about dehydration. Guess they need to add that to the long list of possible side effects. Good luck with the new PM too!! Try to relax until you can get to your doctors and belated "Happy Birthday" wishes coming your way from Ohio.

Char, I hope your rheummie can come up with something else to treat your RA. Surely he can since there are so many different meds used to treat it.

I am sorry no one remembered your b-day, & a happy belated birthday to you. I do hope you get to feeling better soon.

Well, doing a bit better, but things were troubling over the weekend:
Set our clocks back on Saturday night, a welcomed relief, but then at 11 p.m.
we got a call from our daughter, the earthquake the had in Oklahoma, cause
a lot of shaking in her Dorm building (Just North of Dallas) at University
of North Texas, it was very good she was okay, but shaken, then on Sunday
we were at church and got a call that our daughter had a car wreck(not something ya wanna
hear about in the middle of church) she was okay thanks be to God, but the car was
not drive-able and had to be towed, but I'm glad she called us and did the right thing.
We talked her threw what to do and to take a picture and get the paperwork from the
tow truck driver and all, but still a very frustrating weekend...I'm so glad she has guardian
Angles around her...Today I'm just so very tired and need to get house cleaned...
* So many dx's I could write a book* "It would be nice if we could use the edit button in real life"...

Well lets hope all the drama is out of your life for the rest of the whats left of this year and you have nothing but smooth sailing ahead Char.

So glad to hear your daughter is ok. My 16 yr old granddaughter had her first accident a month ago. The idiot that hit her changed his tune when it came time to report the accident to his insurance and they denied paying her property damage to her car. She was not injured either thank goodness. The guy told her dad it was his fault but lied after all. At least their insurance is not paying for his damages.

My sister lives in OKC and they really felt the quake too, so weird Okla having a quake.

Hope you have a good week.
