I began getting chronic daily headaches when turned 18 years old. Now I will be 21 in a couple months and I have seen 5 different doctors about these headaches. They move all around my head throughout the day to different spots, even in my cheekbones and behind my eyes. My head feels heavy and sometimes I get real sharp stabbing pains behind my right ear, which right now I cannot hear out of it and there is constant ringing. (that has been going on for a day now) As far as I know I wasn't around any loud music or guns, etc. Nothing has helped these headaches so far. And everything makes them worse: cooking, cleaning, walking, standing, light and noise, even laying in bed without TV or light doesn't help. I was put on Imitrex and I had a bad experience with the medicine so I will not take it. I have tried Tylenol extra strength and just about any other you can think of and they do absolutely nothing at all. My current headache is the worse I have ever had. I have had it for 6 days now and of course the ringing in my ear as well. Most of the time the headaches are throbbing and I feel lots of pressure. I did go to the doctor yesterday, where she put me on Imitrex and she took blood tests for god knows what. She did not tell me. If anyone can help that would be great! Also, these headaches do go away for a couple days AFTER I have had them for a week or so, but ALWAYS come back.

Haegrove...sorry to hear you are suffering with headaches. Have you ever tried a Chriopractor? I had severe headaches a few yrs. back and I was sent to a chrio. my neck was not aligned properly this helped me . Just a thought. I hope you find relief soon.

Bless you, Amy

Unfortunately my health insurance doesn't cover going to the chriopractor. I have been told to by many people. I just might have to do that
