Hi everyone First off I would like to welcome all the new members that have joined in the last couple of weeks. I normally welcome new members separately, but I've got so behind that I wanted to do it this way to make sure I got everyone.

I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. The depression is a little better. My pain is horrible today. We went Christmas shopping last night. I guess I'm paying for it today.

I have missed being here, but I just couldn't do it.

I hope everyone is having a low pain day and that it continues. Take care everyone.

love and hugs

Hi Loretta, missed you. Glad you're back.

I'm joining you in pain today, going to see pain doc asking for a shot Monday.

Thanksgiving afternoon I pulled smallest grandson out from under the Christmas tree where he was grabbing glass balls. I twisted, to hand him off to his mom, but she didn't take him. Something went "pop" in my back. Emergency arsenal of pills, TENS not working.

Hi Loretta....Thank you for the warm welcome....I have found this forum to be quite helpful and uplifting. I certainly know what you mean paying for it after a night of shopping. That takes about 2 days to recoup from that. Good thing Christmas only comes once a year. I hope you any your family have a great Christmas. I hope your pain is tolerable so you can enjoy time with your loved ones.

Bless you, Amy

Hi Loretta, glad to see you back but sorry to hear that the depression has reared its ugly head. Its tough dealing with it, my PM dr had to increase my medication in October. She says that many of her patients see a rise in their depression and an increase in their pain levels every year starting in October. I sure did fit the bill on that one the past two years. Maybe you need to ask your dr about increasing your meds if you don't start feeling better.

Take care.

Thank you so much everyone. The pain has kept me up til 5 and 6am the last couple of nights. I take Seroquel for sleep and one just doesn't work when the pain is so bad. I guess I'll increase to two as I'm allowed three a night and see if that works.

I am going to see if I can get an appointment with my doctor to see if she will increase my Fentanyl patch.

I sure am glad that I have you all to talk to and get support from. I don't know what I would do without you.

Take care everyone
