Okay the cold weather is here

A heads up for things you should do in these winter months, if you haven't yet:
1. Get your Furnace checked,
2. change the house air filters,
3. have plenty of batteries on hand should the wind knock out the power
4. Ask your local neighbor kids if they shovel your walks for $5.
5. Try not to get angry when you have to get out, keep that in control
6. make sure your good with your medicines before the holiday break.
7. get your car tire pressure checked, as cold weather can effect them, keep them inflated...
8. keep 1 to 2 blankets in the car, and put batteries in your car's flashlight...
Hope these tips can help and be of used
and keep your pets safe indoors as cold can hurt them too....
anyone got any other tips for us...go for it...

Good tips! My furnace ignitor just went out.... $300 to fix it and 3 days of cold (over a weekend)....but finally warm and snuggly again!

Chart hope you are keeping warm, its cold north of you, lol. I don't like it this early in the year either.

We are having quite a mild winter so far for this time of year. No snow on the ground yet.

Hope you are keeping warm Chart. I love the snow but not the -25 C temps here in Ontario.

we are using the wood stove to heat our house so it is nice and toasty here.

Warm thoughts everyone.
