Good evening ameyers6!

My first thought was neuropathy….but you know….we are not Dr's here, and the members could guess at this all day long….so I took the liberty of looking up a website that may be of interest to you.

www.bettermedicine.com/article/tingling-lips

Feel free to take a peek at it…but your diagonses really needs to come from a professional. I would suggest that you see a neurologist.

I can see where it would be a scary thing to suffer through…wondering what it may be. shocked

We are a chronic pain forum…and will be happy to support you…and please do let us know what your Dr finds out.

Take care,

well….you might want to reconsider going to one. It could be a number of things….even a reaction to food that you eat.

…please keep checking back here….to see what other suggestions the members have.

Thank You for visiting us here!

ameyers6,…again we are not Dr's here…..but I will suggest, that you seek other professional advice on it…or ask for a recommendation or referral from your Dr if possible.

I myself would pursue this until you have an answer…as this is not normal…and again it could be a number of things causing it. If it is serious or not…would be anyone's guess.

I do hope you seek more medical help on a professional level, concerning this. Our health is nothing ever to guess at.

Good Luck!

…..you might want to seek out a teaching hospital in your area….they deal with difficult diagnoses'. I will see if I can find you a link for that as well.

Here it is! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_university_hospitals

I looked up your posting history, and see that you received a suggestion to the same question on the anxiety forum….this would be a good place to start as well.

Ameyers...I have to agree with S.E. I would not stop until I had some answers. It took me 3yrs. and 5 doctors before I had a dx. So please se if you can get an appointment at a teaching hospital or ask your doctor to give you a referrel to a neurologist.

Take care, Amy

Amy, I took the liberty of deleting a double posting of this reply. You may want to check after posting to see if this is happening.
If it is, just delete one of them, as I have done here.

Thanks! SE wink

ameyers...I dont know if you are a man or woman. If you are a woman it could be perimenopause . You maynot be breathing properly. I saw posting in other websites about your condition and you are not alone.

Keep us updated on your condition. Happy Holidays

I have a numb/tingling in my face and lips as well.
Doctors are not concerned about it. It may stem from my neck issues.
Or not???
I do notice it more when my meds are taken to late.
I had a physiotherapist lookup the facial nerves in a medical book. She wasn't sure what it was either.
I just ignore it as my other issues are more debilitating.
As the others have said, seek medical help as maybe they can find out what it is.
